This tool sucked. Broke the second I started tightening it up. Not to mention it didn't even fit on my 05 ram 1500 hemi which was the vehicle I purchased it for to begin with. Why advertise for something that it's not. Big disappointment and epic fail.

Doesn’t work with LS crank pulleys, won’t sit deep enough into the pulley to latch on. Just walks right off.

This is a good quality puller.I believe it's made of cast steel. It is quite heavy.The whole thing is nice and thick.I'm sure this puller will take a beating, and last for years, even in my toolbox.I needed the little end piece off. It is easy enough to remove. Just a snap ring holds it on.Great item. Perfect for my needs.

There are a lot of different kinds of pullers you could use to pull a harmonic balancer.I suspect that for a lot of them, you'd need to pull the radiator to have clearance to use them.This one is a little different.It locks into the balancer and then you screw down on the bolt and off comes the harmonic balancer.I had one come off on the mail route once...all on its own.I didn't have the experience at the time...or this tool...to repair it on my own...and, when I had it towed into the mechanic, and they started the car to drive it into the bay, the balancer exploded in the parking lot...and rolled across the blacktop!That's how I got a chance to see what a harmonic balancer looks like.It's all a learning experience.When I'm gone, my children will discover a room of good tools like this...that made my life a little easier.I'm getting smarter as I get older and tired.This is a good tool...make your life easier...get the tools you need to do the job as easy as you can make it.
