When I purchased this Bestop seat, I was expecting the same quality that I normally find in their other products. I was disappointed on several levels.1. The seat is hard as a rock. I'm talking about way beyond firm.2. As other have said, it makes you sit significantly higher. This causes my head to touch the sun screen that my wife makes me have on the Jeep and is surprisingly causes a loss of leg room as well.3. There was a hard spot a bit bigger that a pea towards that back of the seat cushion. This caused a visual blemish through the material. It was far enough back that I didn't feel it when I sat down, so I just threw my seat cover over it and forgot about it.I was hoping when I bought this, instead of the Rugged Ridge variety, I would be getter a better seat. That turned out to not be the case.

They fit my Humvee very nicely.. obviously with some fab work.. especially for the front seat. Material seems like it will last a long time. More dark grey than black… which I have no problem with considering how hot black gets

The seats are nice and a great replacement if they were designed right. They sit an inch and a half higher then the stock seats. To high for my 5'6" Wife and to tight for my legs between the seat and the steering wheel. I cut and re-welded the brackets 1" lower and drilled new holes to move the sliders back a bit and its usable. The shipping was fast and price was fine, but not really a direct jeep bolt in seat.

The color and workman ship was great even though it wasn't the color I ordered, its a shame cause two of them would have looked good especially with the grey in my 2dr (Rubicon)wrangler. There is no way to make it fit either seat is wider then original and there is no way to mount the sliding track that would work, believe me I tried so either its boxed wrong or they are out to lunch when they say it is for a 2006 even the instructions say 1976 to 2002. would love the proper one or set as i could afford them in the grey i Could even measure the mount bolts or send a picture if required.

Installed them this morning in my '88 YJ Wrangler. I am replacing Rugged Ridge seats, which lasted my for 7 years, and that isn't great, but it is a Jeep and gets abused and left out in the sun a lot. So no complaints about the RR seats, but these are a nice step up in quality of stitching as well as the design. Worth the little extra these cost. Aftermarket seats do sit a little higher, and these do too, but usually a few hours of your butt sitting on them will compress the foam until they are just right. Everything fit perfectly, including my original sliders.

Great seat. The material seems high quality -- especially for the price. It's a little firm, but I actually find it more comfortable for longer periods of time than the stock seat. If I ever need to replace another Jeep seat, I'll definitely be picking this particular model.IMPORTANT: For certain models of Jeeps you MUST purchase a separate mounting bracket listed in the description. This will be an additional ~$80 USD, and (to my knowledge) it is impossible to mount the seat without this bracket, at least for certain years. Mine was a '99 TJ and I required the bracket.

After getting a quote from a local shop to redo my original seats of $500, I found these for under $300 and free shipping! They are now installed in my 89 Jeep Wrangler and fit the original mounts like a glove and in my opinion are as good or better in every aspect to my originals. The support is awesome, fabric color match Tan is super and they were easy to put together and install with the included new high grade hardware. If your looking to replace your vehicle seating I would highly recommend these, you won't be disappointed and save some cash with the very reasonable price offered by Amazon!

These seats are a great replacement for my 33 year old OE seats. The material is denim, despite the appearance in the picture. The density of the cushion foam is very good and supportive. Because it doesn't flex as much as the original broken down seats, they are indeed taller/thicker so you will sit up higher and you will be closer to the steering wheel.Getting the old hardware removed from the old seats took the most time and the new seats bolted right up to the driver slider and the passenger riser. I would have given these seats 5 stars but for the following...1) The instructions are terrible. Throw them away and figure out what you need to do. You will be better off. They don't even tell you how to properly assemble the back to the bottom of the seat, leaving out a crucial step that is obvious ONCE you see it, but it should be documented. The step is, the fabric connected underneath the seats needs to be disconnected and pulled back so you can get to 2 of the bolt holes.2) 1 of the seats arrived with some kinda dirt/stain on both the back and the bottom of the seat. I haven't tried to clean it off yet, but they should not ship that way.Overall - I'm very pleased with the seats. They fit well and bolted up to the old hardware easier than the OE seats did.

I put these in a 1995 Jeep Wrangler Rio Grande that I am restoring. The interior is painted with black truck bed liner. These seats are a great match. They sit just right for how I sit, and look really good. Fit the stock seat mounts perfectly. If you don't have the sliders for the original seats, you will need to get those as well. They come in two pieces, so just put the bottom in first, then mount the back after all is installed.
