IMPORTANT: The 10mm/12mm sizing refers to the inner diameter of the shock mount sleeve. The size of your shock dictates which size you need (original is 10mm; aftermarket shocks vary and must be measured). If you aren’t sure which size you need, measure the OD of the top threaded portion of the shock.

When I opened the kit the washers looked wrong, right out of the box. They don't show up on the assembly photos, so not obvious where they go. The inner diameter should be just bigger than the threads on the strut and also smaller than the rod, but it is way bigger than both and also bigger than the nut on the other end. Big enough to pull the nut through completely. Test fitting it I realized the strut pulled through poly bushing all the way out with no washers in place to stop it. I would have sent it back had I not found washers to do the job in my tool box. Not sure how anyone else hasn’t complained but there you go. Get them if you have your own washers.
