This is an adorable ceramic holder for soft or hardshell tacos, beautifully decorated. It holds four tacos for filling and serving, and is microwave safe if you need to reheat leftover tacos. (although it does get pretty warm after a session in the microwave, which makes me wonder if that's really a long-term option)My only real objection to it is that it holds only four tacos, so either you need several of these for a large family or get-together or you'll be doing a LOT of refilling to make sure everyone is served.I'm tending to use it more for actually filling the tacos, whether at a make-your-own taco party or just when prepping them in my kitchen. Either way, it's a lovely addition to my kitchen.

There are some food prep jobs where, when you make more than one, you need an extra hand to hold the first one. Specifically, ice cream cones and tacos come to mind. The BICO RED SPRING BIRD CERAMIC TACO HOLDER is specifically made to address the taco problem and what to do with that first taco while you're making the second one. This taco holder means we no longer have to buy the flat-bottom taco shells, which are available but invariably stale. This allows you to make four tacos at a time before needing to serve any of them. The slots are wide enough for those flat-bottom taco shells, if you prefer them, or for some seriously stuffed soft tacos. This is one of those gadgets that you probably won't need to use every day, but depending on how often you eat tacos, it's nice to have it when you need it. It seems like we eat tacos at least twice a month; that means 24 times a year that we can sit down and eat together. Being able to prepare four tacos at once means everybody's not finished with their tacos by the time I sit down with mine! GoodThat's a good thing. What I really love about this, other than its functionality, is the darling pattern. I love the way this looks. I would love to have an entire kitchen set with this classic pattern. The red, the yellow, and the bright blue colors just make me happy. The ceramic is microwave and oven-safe. It can also be washed in the dishwasher for easy cleanup. If you just want functionality, you could always buy a plastic taco holder, but this is something I love looking at. It's very attractive. Now for dessert... ice cream cones mean I'll be eating mine after everyone else is done or almost done with theirs. But hey, we ate our tacos together.

I ordered this taco tray to hold tacos I make when assembling them. Plus they just look awesome I really like the glazing and the painting on them they would be great to display in a cabinet with glass doors etc. As far as functionality they easily hold corn tortillas to make tacos or hold tacos when eating. I only tried soft shells but I would imagine they would hold crunchy shells as well if not better than the soft ones. The only issue or complain I have is that it's very delicate feeling and if you turn it over it's hollow inside most of it. This makes the holder very light weight and delicate. I could easily see it getting chipped or broken when washing or just moving it around.Overall I love the look and functionality of this holder but will be extra careful when using it due to how delicate it feels.

Just in time for Taco Tuesday! Or at least, prepping four tacos - four wide slots to hold the baked/fried shells upright for filling .Nicely made, cute decoration, smooth glaze overall ... but if prepping and presenting tacos for a crowd, you might need a few more of these.
