These are the screw on type olive and screw in fire use on (only) SRAM brakes of many newer models, but not all.

Luckily I have not had to replace any of my hydraulic lines since these arrived, but I tested them with a spare piece of hydraulic line and they seem to install and fit just like the OEM at a much more attractive price. Brakes are not something I want to fool with - too much at stake if they fail, but I would certainly use these on a future brake project rather than paying premium for OEM.

I used these barbs and olives when replacing the brake line on my SRAM brakes. The old brake line had a hole in it so I ordered some new tube and these barbs and olives to replace it. They worked great and I have no leaking issues so far. I like that these barbs screw in to the brake line unlike others that just use a press fit. The threads make it easier to install without the special barb press. The olives also thread on to the barbs so you don't have to worry about the olives falling off when you're putting everything back together.Overall, I'm very happy with these. They worked great on my SRAM brakes and were very easy to install. Highly recommend these if you plan on doing a brake line replacement.

I needed a few of these for my bicycle brakes. These were a direct fit for the hydraulic brake line. This allows, the brake line to seal securely into the master cylinder. So far they have been working great with no leaks or issues.

The first one I tried worked. The next three were bad with deformed threads. I'd avoid these.

Install was easy but unfortunately it started leaking as soon as the brakes were applied. I'm pretty sure my install was correct.

The quality of this product is beyond crap. Save your money. In retrospect, would not use if given for free. The hose leaked fluid and air upon installation. I removed the barb to try to re-do the setup and the hose fell apart.

This olive kit works good for me. I saw a bunch of people complaining about it but it seems good to me. I'll update my review if I encounter any issues.
