Needed this for a rebuild of a 1997 Trek 820. The 68 X 116 is impossible to find in a name brand. This one seems well made, as good as Shimano. As you can see by the photo, a 48-38-28 aftermarket triple crankset fits nicely. The 28 gear has plenty of clearance from the frame. Don't go by what the crankset calls for, not always right. Mine called for a 122.5 X 73 bottom bracket. No way would that work on my bike. The price was nice too!

After 3500 miles, the OEM BB wore out. While I prefer a Shimano, this was half the price and would ship faster. Fits properly and should work fine. I will see how long this lasts. At this price, I can replace it twice for the same price as the Shimano.

Very good quality for the price. I recondition bikes for a charity organization. I removed a cup and cone BB from a 24" wheeled Raleigh 1x7 youth bike. The crank arm fixing bolts are supplied. Torqued bearing cups to 40 ft lb. Install the right side first followed by the left. Buttery smooth crank rotation after install.Remember when removing bottom bracket cups to rotate forward to remove, and rearward to install. That is easier to remember than right = left hand thread, and left = right hand thread.

Couldn't install the bottom bracket without excessive force. I just had a Shimano bottom bracket installed and it threaded in fine, so I know the problem is this item, not the threads on the bottom bracket shell of the bike. Should have stuck with known brands, stay away from this one.

I was little bit skeptical about its quality because there are so many generic ones which is almost identical with just different mark. It has been about two months now and I rode about 500 miles and so far it works fine without any issue. Price is nice and it includes bolts.
