First ride of 2025 on March 10th. I bought the 28.6mm which is the correct size for the VIVI C26UL. I specifically bought this hinged seat post because it was designed fore ebikes like mine where the hinged seat must be lifted out of the way to remove the battery. The lever had to be drawn through the back of the saddle that came with the bike as the sweep of the lever does not drop as low as the lever of the stock seat post. Still it works just fine. As for the ergonomics and actual function. I wish there was more travel, but this seat post does make for a slightly more comfortable ride. The difference is subtle, but noticeable. If you were hoping for full suspension, sorry, this is not that, if you have a front suspension and no rear suspension, this will add a slight bit of suspension at the saddle of your hard tail ebike or bicycle. I weigh 160 lbs and set it to its greatest level of movement. This is my first saddle suspension so I have nothing else to compare it with. All I can say is that it does improve ergonomics and at least with upright riding, it will lessen the wear and tear to your spine. I will definitely be looking at purchasing different replacement springs, but for now, I remain very happy with my purchase. I plan on buying more of these. Hope this helps some one else thinking of buying.

I got this as a replacement for the bent suspension seat post that came with my Vitilan U7. Good shock absorption, and paired with a Cloud 9 seat, I'm able to ride for miles and miles throughout NYC without so much as a complaint. This has made biking, for this 51 year old, fun once again.

First let me get to what you need to know in the event you don’t read the entire review. First, if you have a standard rail seat and didn’t keep the post attachment that the bike came from you’ll have to buy this attachment. Fortunately I had one from an older seat I had bought a few years ago. Second, there are no directions included. You have to go back to the page on Amazon or look on YouTube. These are big negatives for me that could have been addressed by the manufacturer. It does provide some shock absorption, but since there are no direction it is hit or miss, especially if you don’t have a quick release seat.
