These fit my daugther slightly bigger but still fit-allowing some room for her to grow through the summer. I love the length for school as I prefer her to wear longer shorts. She said they are really comfy and loves all the color options so she can match her shirts each day. Very good value!

BIG ELEPHANT 4 Packs Girls' Athletic Bike Shorts, Dance Yoga Running Soccer Kids Compression Shorts with Pockets (Black+black+black+black, XX-Large)......I got the size XXL and they are a good fit for my 10 (almost 11)-year-old.These shorts are great! Great quality, and love the pockets! These are just like my own workout yoga shorts, but kid-sized. And at the current price of about $30 for 4 pairs, I'd say it's a good buy.

I recently purchased the BIG ELEPHANT 4 Packs Girls' Athletic Bike Shorts for my daughter, and they have been an excellent addition to her wardrobe! She wears them under dresses and for gymnastics practice, and they provide the perfect combination of comfort and functionality.The shorts are made from a soft, stretchy material that allows her to move freely without any restrictions. My daughter loves dresses, but is a wild child so she always wears bike shorts underneath. I purchased these for that purpose, but they can easily be worn alone. The material is decently thick and not see-through. The construction looks pretty good with solid seams and no loose threads that I found. I like that they have pockets, although as I note below, they're a bit odd. Anticipating that they might run small, I sized up and bought XXL for my soon to be 10 yr old (slightly above average size for her age). They fit her fine with a little room to grow.I do have a few minor complaints - 1. They are a tad long... although I'd prefer they be too long rather than too short, I feel they should be a few inches shorter. This is a matter of preference, though. 2. The pockets are a weird shape (see my pictures). I would hate this for myself because my phone wouldn't fit in a triangular pocket. My daughter doesn't have a phone yet, but I suspect anything in that pocket is going to be awkward. 3. I am not going to air dry kids' athletic shorts - they are going in the dryer and I'll update if this destroys them.Overall I'm pleased with these and gave them 5 stars.

These shorts are very stretchy. My daughter could easily slip them on. The colors are cute and will match with multiple tops. I love the length of the shorts as well as the little pocket on them. Very comfortable, she wears them all day and will even sleep in them.

These were smaller than I expected. I would go up a size. Otherwise, these seem to be made well and they were a good value.

My daughter wears a lot of dresses and skirts so we are always in need of some comfortable shorts to go under them. These are a big hit with her. She loves the colors and how soft they are. The length is good for longer skirts and dresses that go to the knee or below. She has also worn them to dance practice and they were not see-through during any of the stretches and moves she was doing. The fit is as shown on the size chart.
