Shimano has discontinued lever hoods for most old models (good luck if you have 9-speed anything!) I bought these to have a spare set for when my originals wear out.

I bought these for my Shimano ST-4500 Tiagra shifters as the hoods for this version is discontinued. It looked very similar and surprisingly it fits pretty closely. It is off by 2-3mm at the top, but I am happy I am able to replace my hoods.

New hoods refresh the bike. Shimano discontinued this series but I'm grateful to have reproduction hoods made to spec with quality material.

Look and feel exactly the same as Shimano hoods which are obsolete for the 6600 levers. Don't hesitate, these are a great replacement.

These replaced the original hoods that were disintegrating. Takes a little time and patience to install, but well worth it. For reference, (because I spent a good hour trying to make sure these would fit) these fit on my 2007 Trek 5000 TCT road bike, Ultegra shifters. I eventually figured out I needed to look at the shifter to get the model number. Duh. Should've thought of that sooner. You're undoing the bar tape anyway, so just take the shifter/brake off the bars and take the old hood off and look inside with a flashlight. Numbers should be in there. Good luck with the brake cables! Park tools has some great instructional utubes.
