ONZILLO Bike Brake Pads are Suitable for Bikes or E-bikes
In the instructions, the statement "Not suitable for E-bike or hybrid bikes" should be "NOT suitable for motorcycles or non-disc-brake hybrid bikes."
Installation Procedure Details
1.Remove the old brake pads:
Remove the caliper by loosening the retaining bolt. Remove the old come-along pads.
2.Cleaning and inspection:
Clean the calipers and discs to ensure they are free of grease and dirt. Reset the piston by pressing it back to the bottom with a flat screwdriver or suitable tool, being careful not to pry.
3.Install the new come-along pads:
Align and insert the new come-along pad into the caliper, making sure it is properly seated and secured.
4.Adjustment and Testing:
Adjust the clearance between the come-along pad and the brake disc to ensure that the two do not touch when the brakes are not being used.

I ordered these to replace a set of brakes I just install that one pair was warped and had to be removed. Received this set, they were damaged in shipping with bent springs and separated pad sets. If any will be a good set remains to be seen. They are nice looking pads if they were not damaged. Don't know if any will be usable until I try. As they were received, it would be a returned order.How I rate items5 Stars = Exceeded my expectations. Love it and will buy again.4 Stars = Exactly what I was looking and hoped for. Some issues.3 Stars = Satisfactory. Minor, acceptable issues but it does the job.2 Stars = Wouldn't recommend or buy again. May work for you but did not for me.1 Stars = Complete waste of a product. Bought them for my E Bike. Opening the packing the first thing in big red letters. Says they are not suitable for E Bikes. Even though the listing says they are.I threw them away and order a more expensive set.

The compatibility list on this brake pad includes my brake pad type so I ordered this kit. Nicely packaged comes with 4 pairs of brake pads (so you use 2 pairs on two wheels and have 2 for spare to use in the future.I have metallic pads on my bike and while it works great, the noise was getting to me, so I decided to swap them out. My old pads were not worn, but just noisy. However when I put these in, they just will not slide in to the slot. I was thinking maybe these were the wrong size, but I decided to file a bit of material from the sides and once I did, they fit perfectly. Not sure how much larger these were, maybe half a mm but enough for them not to fit initially.See the images attached. The gold ones are the ones I had originally - next to the ONZILLO brake pads. On the left, I have the original pads on top of the onzillo, and on the right I have them side by side for comparison. If you have the kind that I had, expect to do a bit of filing (or maybe I just had to because of the way my bike is set up).Cleaned the rotors, then did the bed-in procedure on the pads, then went for a 20 mile test ride. Twice during the ride had to brake pretty hard, but these pads did just as well if not better than the original, but the best part is that the noise is gone. Yay.Hopefully they will last longer than the original. So far so good.

Brake pads seem to be well made using high-quality materials. Work as they should on my heavy e-bike. Not sure what more can be said.

These brake pads are quite good for being in the "budget" category in terms of pricing. They're really well made and installed into my Tektro Hydraulic brakes without issues. A few rides later and I can say that I'm really glad I ordered these pads. They took a bit of time to break in but once broken in, they had excellent grip and exhibited no temperature fade or squalling. I would definitely order these same pads next time I need to replace an old set especially because they come with extra hardware (see pics).

The listing for these brake pads clearly says, and I'm quoting direclty in the event they change the listings:"Precise Braking & Heat Resistant: Combining the advantages of semi-metallic and resin brake pads, Ebike brake pads offer superior braking power, durability and outstanding heat dissipation, allowing riders to have better control over their bikes"Clearly it says "Ebike brake pads", but when you open the package you can clearly see it says:"Not suitable for E-bike or hybride bikes."As for the pads themself, they seem well packaged and see to be of good quality (won't be able to test them until the spring riding season), but I got these specifically to try out on my kids ebikes.They go through several sets per riding season and here these are advertising they're good for ebikes, but when they send them to you they say to not use them on ebikes.Deceptive.

Glad they came with extra pins and the carrying case was a nice bonus. The metal is rather spotty though (literally has spots on it here and there), but I doubt it's rust. Three of the pairs were virtually identical, but the pair that came with the twist-tie broken off had one brake pad that was clearly thicker than the other. Wasn't by much, but likely enough to put strain on the rotor. Might have to use them separately. Otherwise, the resin is essentially the same as the old pads on my M575's, and braking performance is OK once you burn them in a bit. The 2 pairs that I tested didn't squeak during the first ride. Not perfect, but good enough, and CERTAINLY better than worn-out pads.
