A decent item that feels like OEM for a simple bike set up. Definitely only 8 speed so what do you expect? But for a fixer upper, it works.

This is a bit of a conundrum; I rated this product based on the product itself, but I want to deduct for the abysmally poor description of the product on the listing. What I was expecting based on the headline, and what I got, was an 8-speed 12-32 rear cassette that is of good quality, fits a Shimano hub, and works nicely. It came with the locknut and everything appears to be made well. It swapped directly for a worn-out 11-32 and only took a couple minutes, just fit right on like it was supposed to be there. The listing says 8 speed, it says 7 speed, it lists out the gear teeth count that aren't the same as the product, so it feels very much like a "roll the dice and hope you get, and if you don't, at least Amazon is good about returns" situtation. If you get what I did, it's a good product.I do feel like there may be some hinky stuff going on trademark-wise; the product listing is for "Relwears" and the product itself came emblazoned "Shimano"; not sure if that's a legit use of Shimano's name/trademark, but in combo with the shaky listing details, doesn't inspire confidence.

what else can I say. I am an avid bike guy and often change things up and work on my bikes. I needed a new 8 speed cassette because my cheap off brand one kept skipping teeth. This one fit the bill. Amazing how thing quieted down and the shifting got so much smoother. Wearing well, and matches well with my Shimano Tourney derailleur....
