The unit looks nice on the bike. However depending upon the texture of the floor or ground, it can rotate so much so until the bike cannot be supported. I suppose one could fill the space between the unit and frame with some extraneous material before tightening to create more pressure around the bike's attachment point to improve kickstand immobility. Otherwise, it's a very nice and powerfully designed kickstand unit.

I got this hoping to fit an older Schwinn hybrid, but the tapered steel chain stays were too small. It seems better fit for chunky stays like are common on alumnium frames so I put it on my tour bike. The attachment is very secure with a plastic shim to protect paint, and three screws to clamp evenly.Stand is easy to operate, swings smoothly. The leg is hollow with and uses an internal aluminum nut to secure the bottom plastic foot. I found it very easy to adjust the height so the bike stands well.

Being the organizer and leader of a large social bicycle club here in Fort Lauderdale with over 1675 members and growing daily, the safety, health and well-being of our riders is always priority one. The same goes for our mounts as well. It is discussed before every slow roll. And one thing all my members know about me is that I love customization and personalization. And if it serves both safety and customization then roll on I say! My local bike shop Cycling Forza in Coral Springs could tell you how much they make from our patronage. And not just for technical stuff but for lots of other fun stuff as well, gadgets, toys and accessories are always welcome. I like to gift away some small safety item to our new members at the beginning of each slow roll, most often it will be a safety whistle to wear while riding. Sometimes the gifting goes to another level. It might be a lighting kit, a set of pedals or grips, locking kits, occasionally even a pair of gloves or a helmet. I encourage my members to keep their mounts very well maintained in order to not get left behind (in reality we would never let anyone get left behind). Anything that keeps you out of danger and improves the experience of riding is for us. And one feature that has been missing from most bikes out there recently is a kickstand. This is all about keeping your mount safe and secure. I want to be able to quit leaning my honeys bike against the Jeep or a tree. She has a Trek Navigator that lacks a stand. So many trees, so many scratches in the paint. That's where this TOPCABIN Bicycle Kick Stand comes in very handy. It is very stout and very well made. But it does have a fairly unique shape of the mounting assembly that might limit the number of bikes able to use this high quality product. Your chain stay bars have to be a particular shape. I was lucky enough to have some rubber gaskets that I was able to use for a secure fit on the Trek. There are two differently sized allen wrenches included. (!?) One for the mounting assembly and one for length adjustment. Silly. Why not have all of the bolts be the same size? Save on cost of production and cost to the customer. There is some metal and some heavy density plastic built in to this stand. It snaps to when used-a very strong spring assembly is present. It can hold a lot of weight. Can be used on anything it fits on, there's plenty of strength. Not about to part with this new find for my honeys bike. And as always remember:Ride Safe, Ride Strong, Ride Happy!!

I love this kick stand! It’s super light and is sturdy, it’s easy to flip up and it stays. It holds my Orbea E-bike with no problems. I was tired of trying to lean my bike up agains stuff, so I got this stand. So far it’s been great, and I highly recommend it! It looks fabulous too!

I recently got a tandem bike. This bike weighs almost 40 pounds and had no kickstand on it. I ordered a split or Y-shaped kickstand first, but given the placement of the mounting hardware, that kickstand would have pinched off the rear brake cable on the bike, as that cable runs through the frame opening used to mount the Y or double-base, kickstand. Looking at the picture, I liked the wider "foot" on this stand, thought I was still concerned the item simply would not support an 8 foot, 40 pound tandem bike. The item works GREAT. It is well made, and solid, easily adjustable. It comes with the Allen wrenches needed to install it. Unpackaging, installing and adjusting took 10 minutes. I found it odd the item needed 2 Allen wrenches to install, but no big deal. The only remaining concern I have is the length the mounting bolts extend past the bracket as they will be exposed to the elements and might develop rust of corrosion. These mounting bolts do come with plastic, slide on, covers which are easy to install, but do not cover the entire exposed threaded portion of the bracket. However, since I never ride in the rain, it is unlikely I will ever know if this is a real concern or now. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
