I recently got an electric scooter for getting to my classes around campus and I needed a bike lock to ensure no one would ride off with my nice electric scooter! So this lock caught my eye. It is super easy to set up and or change the password. It has a good amount of length if you need to stretch out the cord a bit. Seems quite durable and reliable and works really well overall. No one has stolen my electric scooter at my college campus yet so it is doing its job well!! Great value for money here and you will safe lots of money with this product because people can’t steal your stuff!

This lock is well made and looks good. It has a good feeling heft to it. The 4 combination dials have the expected amount of resistance/friction when turning. The length is just right for our use (can go around both front wheel and frame). Too long and you are lugging around excess weight. The 10 mm diameter of the cable is appropriate for the amount of security that we require (mainly locking up bike at school). We have not used the mounting bracket. For our use, this bike lock is pretty much perfect. You should know that the external material of the lock portions is hard plastic, whereas the internals are metal. This may matter if it gets dropped on the ground or banged on a bike rack or bike frame.I suggest researching what type of bike lock is best for your intended use (primarily need to consider location and crime rate).

I bought to to secure a spare tire to my gooseneck trailer. I know, I know, if someone really wants to steal the tire it will only take ten seconds with a bolt cutter and its gone. But I'm counting on it being more of a phycological deterrent, and for that I think it will succeed admirably because it looks beefy and manly. Nothing wimpy about it. I needed a cable close to 4' long to secure the tire to the frame, and this fit the bill.Resetting the combination is quick. It will take you longer to decide on what combination you want to use than it does to set it. I'm really pleased. Good value, good appearance, and good quality.

I'm very pleased this lock so far, it's my first new lock in a while. The length, is perfect for my bike to secure it to a bike rack or pole. Using it is simple as the four digit combination is easy to set and reset, and the cable is thicker than some of my other ones, helping me to feel a bit more confident when my bike is locked up and I'm not nearby.I especially appreciate the included mount (for round tubes only) that allows me to conveniently attach the lock to my bike when not in use. It's exactly what I need, and I feel much better about leaving my bike unattended.

Look, this is an inexpensive bike lock. The cable could probably be cut through relatively easily, and there isn’t enough bulk at the lock for me to think a well placed blow won’t shatter it. So why am I giving it 4 stars?True, I would not use this in a busy urban or school setting where I would be out of sight of a more expensive nike for hours,But I got this to lock up my cheap town cruiser in the window the local small town coffee shop when I am sitting there. Just want to give anyone with eyes a visual deterrent. Maybe even for a ride up to the library. And for that, this is perfect. This is a super lightweight cable lock. Every part is covered in plastic, and the dial to change the combo is also plastic. That makes it perfect to toss in a bag for the above uses. The lock itself is super cutesy, but this 54 year old isn’t above some fun having a hungry goldfish guarding his bike! The combo was easy to change, and the lock closes securely for the size. All in all, not bad for use in places where it is less likely you have a bike thief running around, or you are (like me) cheap and sporting a sub $200 no name bike.
