Which isn't really a knock on the item, per se. I would just suggest having either a flexible use case, or examine your need vs the dimensions of the lock here.

This long neck lock offers very solid protection for any portable mode of transportation. It’s very large size means you can use it potentially on multiple bikes at the same time or have the option of extra room when using it to protect a single bike. The build quality is good. Mechanism is solid. It has a good heavy weight, which means it won’t break easily and the fit and finish is good. Not a fan of having to use a screwdriver to reset the lock, which makes it a bit awkward but otherwise it’s a solid product that should be durable for years to come.

The Lawnize Bike Lock U-Lock provides simple and effective security for bikes at a reasonable price. Measuring 3.75 inches in width and 11 inches in length, it offers plenty of space to attach my bike frame to my car carrier. What I really appreciate is its convenient design that eliminates the need for keys. The lock is lightweight, making it easy to toss into my bag without any inconvenience. I find that applying and removing the lock is both quick and easy, which makes it more likely for me to use it regularly. The protective coating is a nice touch, safeguarding both the lock and my bike from scratches—unlike my previous bike lock, which ended up damaging my bike's finish.

This Lawnize bike U shaped bike lock with combination is heavy duty. The code is easy to set. You can reset it differently anytime you want. You just have to know the last combination to then change it to another. The numbers are large and easy to read. The rubber is thick so it won’t scratch your bike.

I got this lock as a second lock for one of our e-Bikes to use in addition to a chain lock. Setting the combination requires a small phillips screwdriver. Underneath the little door, you flip a lever to the "set position" adjust the combo and then flip the lever back. It's a little weird because anyone can open the door but they can't do anything unless the lock is open. The lock is very long but much narrower than a conventional U-lock. Unfortunately, it does not fit over my 3" wheel (more the fender). My daughter's bike has a 1.75" wheel and it works great for locking the front wheel to the frame. But I don't think you could lock the frame, wheel and affix to a bike rack.Wheels spin great and lock is easy to engage. Overall I gave it four stars because of the awkward setup and the very thin U shape.

This bike lock is awesome! I highly recommend. It is very sturdy, and durable. I do not feel like anyone could break it or cut through it. I never buy any bike lock other an a U lock because they are the most reliable locks. This one does not disappoint. Super easy to reset the code to your own lock combination. I also love the size of this bike lock because it can fit at least 2 bikes in it, which makes riding with others a lot easier.

You might recognize the "U" lock style ... because it was invented over 50 years ago! It's the most popular bike lock around because it's relatively inexpensive (under 30 bucks) and it works every time! A test back in 1971 in New York's Greenwich Village had a bicycle locked to a signpost and, although the bike was repeatedly assaulted by would-be thieves, the bike and lock survived for over 30 days and nights! OK. Now. a couple of issues. First, this one comes with a very simple instruction for setting your secret 4-digit combination. You have 10,000 choices beginning with 0000 (the original default setting) and setting requires only a small Phillips screwdriver. Very easy! That's a definite plus. Second, if you're on your way to a place where you'll want to lock up your bike, you'll need to have the lock with you (yeah, obvious!). The lock weighs a bit over one pound! Can't change that but I would suggest a small back pack if you don't have panniers (saddle bags). The third is also a plus. The coating on the lock is smooth and seems tough so it won't mar the finish on your bike frame. And a bit of advice. Choose a signpost with a sign on top to attach your lock to. It's pretty easy to lift a modern lightweight bicycle over the top of a bare post!! So, there you are. 5 stars and a feeling of maximum security!
