I have a cheaper RockBros mirror and bought this one to attach to the other side of my handlebars. For the difference of only a few dollars, this one is far better because the attachment clamp is securely held in place by two screws which you can snug down pretty tight. So when you adjust your mirrors you don't have to worry about the clamp getting loose. The RockBros uses one wingnut bolt which I've had to retighten several times even though I make minor adjustments to the mirror, usually when it inadvertently gets moved by brushing past a wall or my shoulder. The stem part is solidly built. I prefer the round mirror which allows you to see any object but it's much smaller on your handlebars.

I purchased this to use on my mobility scooter. The fitment was great, the installation was easy and for the first couple of days, it worked well. Unfortunately, soon after the coding on the stem started to deteriorate, and eventually broke off where it connected to the bracket. I returned the product for a refund.

I bought this last September, and it’s now May. For about three of those eight months, I didn’t ride at all, so it’s not like I got a ton of use out of it. While cleaning and maintaining my bike today, I noticed that it was loose, and when I went to tighten it, I noticed the bottom part of the mount is cracked, and the stem’s outer plastic sheath is also cracked near the mount. It can’t be tightened, so I need to buy a new one. I’m going to try a different brand this time. It was fine while it worked, but it just didn’t last for me, and I’m careful with my things and take care of them. Maybe you’ll have better luck than I did. Visibility is good, and it is easy to adjust. It just didn’t last.

Got an electric scooter and realized that I needed a rear view mirror for safety from cars. Easy to put on, works great, good range of view behind me. I recommend

Just as described and just what I needed. Many people pass without any warning at all, so I shopped for a mirror that would help me see someone approaching. The hardest part about installation was removing the screws that it was shipped with. The rest was a breeze, installed in less than 5 mins. It's adjustable for any angle of handlebars that you might have and the mirror is also adjustable, which I didn't even know until I accidentally discovered it! A great feature to have. The only slight drawback is that objects are definitely much closer than they appear. One second they are way back and 2 seconds later they are right next to you. I try to scan the mirror every 3 seconds or so. Anyway, great mirror, great price, recommend!

The mirror is described as "Aluminum Tube Bike Mirror," but there is no "aluminum tube"! It's a heavy aluminum wire covered by rubber, which I found out when the rubber covering cracked while I was curving the mirror to get the right position on my Bacchetta recumbent bicycle. That's the bad news. The good news is that I was able to take a razor blade and simply remove the rubber covering, exposing the heavy aluminum wire between the arrows as shown on the photo. I then used a light steel wool on the wire and IMO it looks better now than it does in the Amazon listing. With the rubber gone, the aluminum wire can be curved sharply as shown in my picture, and once installed, it's also very sturdy, easy to adjust and holds position well (and it's been on some long rides already). As others have said, the mirror itself IS very convex - cars can be very small in the mirror but OTOH I like that because I can see them coming from far away and prepare to move out of their way.
