The thin yet durable fabric, similar to my UTV cover, offers good protection against light rain and dust. While I haven't tested it in extreme conditions, it keeps the seat dry during typical use. Although it may not withstand heavy downpours or long trips on a bike carrier without additional waterproofing, it certainly beats using a plastic bag and provides solid everyday protection. Nice waterproof cover. I like the draw string type closure rather than elastic that eventually stretches.I have the large cruiser type seat and the fit is nice and roomy. I leave it on while riding.Very satisfied with this cover.Note that if you have the smaller style seat that usually comes on road bikes, this cover is too big.

The seat cover has a drawstring to tighten the seat. That was what on the sides had split so the seat would be perfect. The seat on I still got a wet seat would not buy again.

We use it on our huge bicycle saddle. We hooked it into itself and store it underneath the seat when not needed. We put it on anytime it rains or while it's on the back of our car being transported. Works great

The fabric is very thin and the tie/clip thing does not hold the drawstring against even a weak pull, but if all you need is to have a cover over the seat while its parked somewhere, this should do the job better than a plastic bag, and with a 2-pack you have a spare in case the durability is as low as I suspect it is, so I guess its worth considering if on sale...
