I got an older bike trailer for free, an instep duo cruiser, but it didn't come with the coupler and I couldn't find anywhere that would tell me which was the right one. I ordered both the straight version (this one) and the angled one, and this is the right one for that trailer.Installation was straightforward, I've done these before. But my bike has a back rack on that bolts to the bottom of the frame near where this coupler attaches to the axle. I found that that was in the way, this coupler would not sit flush as required.So I took the grinder to this piece and cut out a notch to make it fit. Kind of an annoying step, since the shoulder on this doesn't need to be as wide as it is, but I made it work. It's nice and sturdy now.
