I used a hallway as a control, took measurements with both a tape and this device and boy am I happy to report that it seems pretty accurate to me. Of course, I would not use something like this for critical measurements unless I have a feel for it and can confidently know its accuracy. However, this thing was a pleasant surprise to use. The hallway measurements were practically identical to what I got with my tape. Close enough that I can say you could probably use this thing for a bulk of measurements, where applicable. It feels like it looks. Not a horrible build at all but it is plastic. I would probably avoid dropping it. It is alright. The value here is decent, especially if you make any money while using it. It can easily pay for itself with time saved. It was a little weird getting it to work properly at first, but it took no time to get it working right and had it tested within a few mins of taking it out of the with ease.As of right now, I would recommend this laser measuring device, for sure. So long as it lasts and continues to provide accurate results, I am very happy with it.

This is a very good, intuitive device.First things first. One of the things I first loved about this was when I opened the box, there was a set of instructions. Written. In English. By a native speaker! I don't think I remember the last time that happened. Usually I spend the first 20 minutes of a new piece of gear hunting the Internet for instructions, only to find them in such a state that I can't understand them anyway. This was a welcome difference and started us on the right path right away. From the easy to read instructions, I learned how the device worked for a host of applications and uses, such as obviously straight line measurements, but also for measurements that can't be done as easily such as total height of the pole, for example. Using the Pythagorean Theorem, the device will, if you take the measurement to the base of the pole and the angled measurement to the top, the devie automatically provide the height. That is pretty cool and handy, and well explained in the documentation. The device is small and convenient, easily something I'll put in my tool bag and keep handy. The hardest part of connecting the carrying strap LOL.5 Stars from me, I really like it.

Been playing with this for a few days. Tested it's accuracy against a traditional tape measure in a few scenarios and it's either dead on or very close. I dont think I'd use this for example, doing trim... in the sense of measuring for cuts. Places where accuracy is of paramount importance. However quickly measuring a room for estimates and such, this tool should be a game changer

So far, this has been impressively accurate. The dual lasers make measuring projects easy, and it has a lot of useful functions. Nice that it’s rechargeable, so no need for AAA batteries. The build feels solid, and the backlit display is easy to read. Only real downside is that it doesn’t come with a belt holder, which would’ve been useful, especially at this price. Still, for $50, it’s a solid tool that does the job well.
