I needed this for when I drain our Jacuzzi to get the last few inches of water out so I can throughly clean it. This was the perfect item for that. Super easy to use.

Got this to pump out hard to reach places in the stern and bow of our inflatable kayak. It has great suction, no issues there. The down side is the pump only comes with one 2 foot long x 1 1/8 diameter hose. Since we needed hoses for both the intake and discharge, and we also needed a smaller diameter hose on the intake end, this is what we did:Bought1 x 1/8 bilge pump hose (came in 6 ft roll) 3/4" PVC threaded coupling 1/2" x 3/4" threaded hose barb adapter 1" x 3/4" threaded hose barb adapter 5/8" OD x 1/2" ID clear vinyl tubing (came in a 10 ft roll) 1 each 1/2" x 1 1/4" and 3/4" x 1 3/4" hose clampsCut the bilge pump hose and vinyl tubing to the desired length. Assemble with either of the 1 1/8" hoses necked down to vinyl tubing on the intake end.Gave 4 stars because our DIY adaptation cost as much as the pump.

This was perfect to get the water out of our boat, especially in those hard to reach places and grooves.

To small for our dinghy but works well. Good for a kayak

I use this when i take my dog kayaking. He is 3 and loves to get in and out of the kayak frequently. He brings a TON of water with him when he climbs in. This pump works very well and has already made its way into my kayak bag after one use!

This is listed as a kayak bilge pump. I don't kayak but I have a hot tub and every time I empty it to clean it there is always a couple of inches of water. This takes care of it in short order. Works great, you can reverse it (front OR bottom drainage) and you can take the hose off for easy storage. Highly recommend, kayak or no.

It works great getting the water out. Unfortunately the hose is a little too short. I wish they would offer a longer hose option or way to get one.

Well from the picture I reversed the hose from the top side to the bottom.I have a 4 meter RIB (rigid inflatable boat)It has an aluminium deck floor with a small hole near the transom. It’s tough to flip this thing over by yourself; but near impossible after a rain. If you have set up, tank, motor, wheels, etc,etc ! This pump like I said, hose reversed worked well to evacuate water under the decking and in the hull.I wish there was a slight screen/spacing for the end of the tube. You can get away without, but the tube will suck hard to the bottom of the boat and you will need to adjust to proceed. This unit can move water though. Overall I am happy with this purchase and having it with me on trips

Small volume pump. Takes a lot of pumping to get any significant amounts of water out of the boat.

I bought this to remove some water from the bilge and anchor locker of my boat. It seems to work really well and pumps a lot of water with each stroke. Olive oil on the shaft of the pump made it slide a lot easier. My only complaint is the included hose is pretty short. It was tough to discharge into a bucket and work the pump by myself.Update: after 3 years, it still works but only without suction hose on end. Pump used to work with hose on suction or discharge but now only with hose on discharge.
