Item works okay. I wasnt impressed with only one metal sticker to apply to my chalk for it to stay in the holder. I thought it would be more of an interference fit. I've been using this item for 3 weeks now and already need to replace my chalk. Adhesive is not going to be good enough to stick to a new block of chalk. Guess I'll need to get myself some 2 sided tape to make it work.

Decent product. Bought for boyfriend's birthday as he has wanted one for a while now. I may even consider one for myself if I get to play more often.The magnet from pocket piece to chalk holder is not super strong. I could definitely see chalk getting messed up from barely brushing against the table and hitting the floor - even with the protective cage.The magnet piece to put on the chalk itself... there's only one. We don't know if the adhesive will work well or if it will work so well it'll leave bits of paper and adhesive on the magnet. He's going to use double sided tape when he needs to change out the chalk... until then we won't know for sure.The design, overall, is great! It's versatile enough for different types of octagonal chalk, but that also means the cage could be a tight fit for some while loose for others - hence the magnet for the chalk.For the price, this wasn't a bad buy. It was certainly one of the better ones found on Amazon. But I would spend much more for this... not unless they increased magnet quality and provided more adhesive buttons (maybe even a spare magnet button or two, just in case).

this magnet will hold the chalk holder but mine fell off walking around table several times before I just took it off I did leave my chalk in holder though.....
