For the price I paid the music box was a higher quality than I really expected. The packaging and the included gift box where a very nice touch. Only downside is it doesn't shut off when you close the lid which might have been mentioned in the description but I didn't see it otherwise gave it as a gift and she is very happy with it

I was amazed, when it was delivered, at how gorgeous it was! Beautiful wood with intricate carvings! The song was strong & clear. Put together very well. Came in a box suitable for gift wrapping. Given the price of this item, I had significant concerns about its quality and timeliness of delivery, however, everything exceeded my expectations. This is a beautiful walnut finished music box with transparent window, so you can see the mechanism inside plus there is a space to put jewelry or other small items. A very unique gift for someone who has it all. My mother loved it as a birthday gift!

This box looks "manly" and would look good on top of a dresser. There is a small area for special items: jewelry, keepsakes, etc. It also plays a melody that is nice.
