Although this adapter bolts up just fine. My problem is that my Binoculars are HUGE & heavy. I will use it unless I try another style.

If you have a tripod or just hold it with one hand. That one is meant for you to use. For it is compatible with my 30 year old binoculars.

It is nearly impossible to get a good view with my binoculars at or near full zoom. Mounted on my tripod, this adapter makes short order of focusing in on those distant subjects.

This is a durable product but it did not fit my binoculars. I have the Vortex Diamondback binos and it did not work for them.

This is a nice quality item and worth the money. There is a problem that will affect many users, however, that can be easily solved. The threads of the thumbscrew stud are about 2mm too long for the binocular hub so that using it without modification will either cause a loose connection between the body of the mount and the binocular, or tempt someone to overtighten and break the thumbscrew as one user showed. Stop---here is the easy fix:Get a 1/4" old-style hard rubber faucet washer (small or medium, depending on the diameter of your binoc hub). Ream out the inside slightly with a drill bit so that the washer screws down onto the stud and reduces the length of the threads going into the binocular hub. Then attach and tighten, USING ONLY YOUR FINGERS, no pliers. Firm finger pressure is all that is needed. You could use fiber washers or metal, but metal might scratch the binoc hub. O-rings are too soft and will deform, so don't try these. I found the hard rubber is thick enough to do the job with one washer, stays on the threads when the mount is detached, and allows proper hand tightening of the thumbscrew without damaging the binocular.Four stars because this item should be shipped with this washer and some modification instructions for those less mechanically inclined. Once modified, it's a five-star gadget.

This product as is doesn’t secure my binoculars. Once attached the binoculars move freely causing severe wobble when the purpose of this tool is to steady your optical system. Wouldn’t recommend, spend the extra money and get a solid platform.

This item is made of aluminum, not plastic, which adds a bit of weight, but strength as well. Definitely worth the price over more expensive models that do the exact same thing.
