I like it because I can measure stuff "in the air" by myself. Sure, there's a little bend but I really couldn't do that with a regular tape measure because it bends down after like 4 feet and laser ones you have to nail your end points really well.

For a traditional feel and work experience, these rulers are great, been around for over a hundred years or more. Most are plastic or composite. These are simple hardwood and are accurate enough. Better than a tape for woodworking.Love em!

I'm 77 yo and have been using folding rulers all my life, mostly vintage rulers picked up at yard sale.These rulers are very well made and frankly much better than I expected. Better than many of the vintage rulers I've used in the past. Specifically the finish and printed graduations are clear and crisp, the brass folding mechanisms are sturdy and the thickness of the wood is greater than some I've used. The brass end caps are a welcome feature. Some I've seen don't have them.
