The straws didn't taste like anything. They didn't affect the flavor of my drink. They didn't disolve in my soda. I left a straw in a glass of water overnight and it wasn't affected. But I did not try them out in hot coffee though. I wish restaurants offered these straws.

I’m really liking these straws! The straws are great quality and very durable and does not have any taste. Feels good to be eco friendly and sugar cane is such a cool material for straws.

These are great. I'm a designer and these are pretty enough for us to put on display in our home when guests come over. I was nervous that they were going to crack like some other straws but these don't. I'm hooked! I will absolutely keep buying them.

I bought these straws for my cold drinks and smoothies. They last longer than clear plastic straws because they don't deform as much with use. They work great for 16oz coffee cups and other drinks. I have not tried them in hot drinks so no comment on that. The other benefits such as no plastic are a plus. One negative is the packaging. The straws are difficult to remove from the box because they are the same height as the box and are tightly packed. The straws are not individually wrapped either, just an fyi.

We use straws often in my home and are trying to lessen our use of plastics. However, paper straws are the absolute worst. Evo Prep Sugar cane straws have been the perfect solution for us. They don’t have a taste, are a standard straw size, and you can enjoy a drink without having to use multiple straws. We also love that we can compost the straws so we aren’t adding to our plants waste problem.

I’ve faithfully washed plastic straws for years. Even before we learned what the resulting trash wreaks on animals, I was washing straws. Between sensitive teeth & a horror of someone putting something in my drink, I’ve recycled bad cups & plastic straws since the 70s.These straws are simply wonderful. They have no taste, hold up beautifully all day in cold drinks, don’t melt in hot (not boiling, they do get bendy in my steamed milk for coffee if I plunk it in too soon) and I don’t feel guilty throwing it away after a day. They’re not sharp & hard like metal, or breakable like glass.The box has a tiny square perf for one at a time dispensing. I’ve added them to my Subscribe & Save, Definitely recommend!

Als das Paket ankam war es ganz schön zerdrückt und ich dachte die Trinkhalme haben es nicht überlebt. Aber wider Erwarten haben sie die starke Belastung ohne Mängel überstanden.Jetzt habe ich ich sie auch endlich mal genutzt. Dabei sind sie nicht aufgeweicht und halten auch mehrere Drinks am Stück durch. Sie haben auch keinen Beigeschmack wie Trinkhalme aus Papier oder Nudeln. Für mich trotz des hohen Preises eineabsolute Kaufempfehlung. Nutze es vor allem wenn ich griechischen Eiskaffee mache. Für Drinks nutze ich sie selten. Werden definitiv wieder gekauft. Bin wirklich total begeistert und werde sie privat auch weiterempfehlen!!!

I don’t care for steel or glass options, but I want to do better than use plastic. This was a great solution. These straws are rigid enough they don’t fall apart, but they don’t have the weird texture that some recycled materials do. Overall, they’re smooth, very functional, alleviate the need to clean after use, and I’ll be ordering more.
