My filter was @ the end of it's usefulness. Bought filter 2021. I had a stain that was stubborn in deep end above ground pool. It looked like a light mustard stain. I put a bottle in, helped some. Checked water it needed alkalinity raised & vitamin D. Tried another bottle, still light stain. The day of closing vacuumed pool again & starting closing process of draining to get pump shut down & cover on, finally clear. Closed pool & water/liner looked as good as it had all summer. We had A LOT of rain end of season that brought problem up too. (Along with wore out filter) Draining under hose level/skimmer bucket I will be adding pretty good amount of fresh water @ opening in Spring 2024 that should help get me off to a good start. Only a (3) because I had to use (2) bottles & the cost. I would have probably been better off getting something for vinyl stain instead of algae killer??

We have found this to be the best product for removing green algae. There is little to no scrubbing the sides of the pool

Best algaecide out there. I've tried many and this is the only one that keeps our light blue colored pool free of green algae growing on the walls and red algae from forming in the skimmers. No algae period. Recommend even though it is on the pricey side. We add 3oz per week to keep the green at bay.
