The belt broke on my Bissell vacuum, so I ordered these as a replacement. The first belt lasted several years, so hopefully these will as well. They look and feel identical to the original belt from my vacuum. I just put one in and it fits perfectly and works perfectly as well. Hopefully it will last a long time, but it’s nice to have a second one on hand if the new belt breaks at some point in the future.

This is the same belt I ordered the last time I had to replace a belt (2021). I have a Woolly Siberian Husky so my vacuum gets A LOT of over time! This last pack of belts lasted 3 years, and I use my vacuum 3-4 times weekly.

This vacuum was a "throw away' as it had gotten wet in a closet and they had just a few loose mats that could be vacuumed. It had also been used by a number of people and no one did any maintenance except to empty the dust canister, and just what would come out easy at that. I largely took apart the dust canister and cleaned it well, cleared the hose, knocked the dust out of the lower filter and washed the sponge filter. I put it back together and it ran as good or better than my Electrolux. Then, a year later, we noticed the brush not turning all the time, so I took that part of the vacuum apart and cleaned all the dog/cat/people hair out of the brush and around the belt. I looked up what more it would cost to keep my free vacuum running and found these very reasonably price belts. Replaced the old belt with one of these and, WOW, it cleaned like a new vacuum. The moral of this story is, you have to do maintenance even on a "free" vacuum.

You will probably want to buy a new beater bar with this. (Mine was a Bissell OEM for about $24.)The belt initially looked so much smaller than the old failing belt that I thought I bought the wrong one. (I hadn't). The new one was just much more tighter which, at first worked great. Then, in 5 minutes, I smelled something burning. Then the beater bar stopped turning. What had happened is that when the new belt returned the beater bar to it's original tension, it turned much faster, and caused friction in the bearings in the ends of the beater bar...which led to it overheating and locking up...which in turn threw the new belt off the motor spindle. Over time, your vacuum's old beater bar collects a lot of dirt and hair as the accompanying belt ages with it. Then it throws the old belt off, which makes you purchase a new belt...only to find out that the new belt uncovered a "new" problem. (I have seen a lot of comments from people mad because their new belt mysteriously broke. Something caused that!) So, when you take the old, bad belt off, just spin the beater bar and see if it spins freely like it has ball bearings. If it doesn't get the new bar too and save yourself some time and aggravation! (I have a Bissell Powerforce Helix model 1797, with a 15" bar.) It works like NEW now! God bless ya!

We thought our CleanView swivel vacuum had hair wrapped around the head preventing it from spinning. Turns out the belt snapped! So, of course, we needed to look for a replacement. I just looked at the number on our existing belt, looked it up, and this came up. I got nervous with the reviews saying it didn't fit despite it being listed as the right size. As I was putting it in (which required a YT video because the manual wasn't helpful), I really thought I would be leaving one of the "no fit" reviews...but, turns out, you just need to trust that it will fit, pull it tight, and snap the head in after looping the belt around the bottom motor bit. It's a TIGHT fit...but makes sense, otherwise it could slip off, wouldn't spin fast enough, etc. If this is the right size for your vacuum (just match the number provided), then it'll work! Been about 2 months and no issues, but will update if and when this one snaps to give an idea on longevity.
