This worked great for a naughty puppy who liked to chew on the corners of the sofa, loveseat and chairs. It was easier to redirect him to a proper chew toy when the furniture tasted nasty! Recommend!

For some reason, my dog has decided she wants to eat our house. She has already chewed away two pieces of corner floor molding and would probably go after more, except for this "Bitter No Chew" spray. I've only had it a few days, but she really shies away from the floor molding, so it appears this spray is working. Sure glad I have it!

This did not work for my dog. It doesn't matter how much we spray the shoes, she still chews on them. I gave it three stars because it's likely still a great product. I've had dogs that the original bitter spray didn't work on, but many people had lots of success with it. My dog is a 6 month old Jackador (Jack Russell and Labrador mix).

We have an 11 week old English bulldog puppy, and she loves to be using her mouth and teeth, on almost anything, including us. As she seems to think she’s playing, and breaking her of that habit has been unsuccessful. So, I decided to make us, and our furniture less enticing.I’ve been using this off and on, for the past few weeks. I’ve spayed it on our hands and feet, and all of the furniture within her reach. I’ve been very diligent about applying it, multiple times a day. Unfortunately, she seems to enjoy the taste of it. She simply licks it off, and carries on with her misbehavior, but only after she’s gotten every last taste of it off of something. We’ve had 8 bulldogs over the years, and they come with some specific tendencies. They’re strong willed, and if they make their mind up about doing something, they do it. She’s no exception. Since she seemed to enjoy the taste of this product, I’ve purchased 3 other products, with different ingredients, and her response, is just the same with them, as it is with this product. So, I don’t think this product or the others I’ve tried, are necessarily useless for most pets, just our strong willed puppy. Fortunately, she’s been catching on with the training I’m giving her, and if I can catch in action with her misbehavior, she seems to be improving, in regards to our furniture. However, she seems to be entertained, when she decides to make us, the thing to bite on or chew. I like the natural ingredients of this product, but sadly it doesn’t work for us. I don’t think one bit, that this product doesn’t work on most dogs, since all 4 of the products I’ve purchased are ineffective for us, we just have a dog, who apparently likes the taste of all of them. I’m only taking 1 star off, as I think it’s made of quality ingredients. It’s not the manufacturers fault, it’s our puppy.

My Coton de Tulear puppy wants to chew everything in sight, and I'm not always quick enough to catch him. This spray slows him down enough for me to react and redirect. I don't think it's strong or foul enough to prevent his curiosity altogether, but I don't leave him completely alone in certain areas if home. I find that I need to use the spray more than once daily which makes it weaker than others I've used. The trade-off for me is that it doesn't smell as nasty to this human as the stronger products.

We have a few dogs that like to chew and lick their paws at certain times of the year, mostly due to allergies. While we do try to address the allergies as the root cause, it's hard to be 100% effective and some dogs will chew sores on themselves if left unchecked.A little squirt of this on the paw and the chewing/licking stops. I'm hoping that over time, it will become learned behavior. Fortunately, we don't really have to use it that often, as our dogs are pretty healthy and we have them on good food and groom them regularly. Our dogs don't really chew on furniture or anything else, but I can see this working pretty well for that too.

This no chew spray works on my puppy who loves to chew on fire logs and wood cabinets. I would spray onto the cabinets and fire logs and it stopped my puppy from biting and chewing. I like that this bottle claim to be made with safe, plant based ingredients, targeting a dog’s taste buds without harming them. I don't know the long term affect on my puppy. Hope there is no harm. After I sprayed it, it did not leave any harm or discolored my furniture. This spray did deter my puppy from items but I have to spray it repeatedly every hour. It seems to be working well for now.
