It's funny how everyone in the martial arts world that makes GIs, Doboks or whatever you want to call your uniform, will not agree with one universal size chart. With each brand you need to see what they claim the sized are which means you need to be measured which is hard to do by yourself. And even if you get it right, they chart might be off. In this case it was a 50/50. The top fit like it should but the bottoms were a little too tight for high kicks. Granted it is being sold as a BJJ Gi, and many BJJ schools stick to the scientific work laid down by it's founders. That said I have been in many Dojos where they teach high kicks in the BJJ curriculum. This makes the pants a bit too tight and therefore a bit useless. On the plus side I ordered another one from another company where the top was too tight and the pants just right so now I have a complete set. This is not an economical way to go. It is advertised as a light weight but is a bit thicker than that. I'd call it a medium weight as it is not a heavy weight. When I was young, when I started 4 decades ago, the heavy weights were about this price. Now these lightweights are the heavyweight price and the heavyweights are almost cost prohibitive in practicality. Being as we have been in an ever widening gap between rich and poor and we have also been in a depression that is technically financially worse than the great depression, this makes so little sense to try and bang your fellow human being over the head for your own financial gain. We should be helping each other. Not harming each other.

The good news: this clothing is well made and, if it fit me, I think the price (US $80 at the time of this review) is very reasonable for the quality. The fabric is a subtle waffle weave texture, substantial and flexible at the same time. Seams are straight and uniform, and double-stitched for strength. The waist cord for the drawstring waist on the trousers is strong and long enough to secure it.The bad news: I'm a woman with curves, wide shoulders, and a potbelly, and I can't even get the trousers on even though I ordered the right size according to the size chart for A0-A4 that I found online. The legs fit okay but the hips and waist are much too small for me. I planned to use this outfit for general exercise -- tai chi, physical therapy, lifting dumbells, etc. -- and expected it would be designed to allow plenty of movement. Aside from the "I'm a woman" fit problem, I have wide shoulders and the top just barely makes it across my back.Other stuff: This outfit seems to be designed for wearing over inner clothing, rather than on its own. There are gaps at the top of the trousers, and the wrapped top crosses low. That's probably fine for a guy, but I think even a slim woman would probably want to wear a thin teeshirt at least.Overall, I like this outfit a lot and maybe, after I lose 40 pounds or so, I'll be able to use it as planned. If you're a reasonably athletic-shaped man, I recommend it. If you're a woman with curves, not so much -- or order at least two sizes larger than you think would fit.
