This thermostat allows the temperature to drop 12 degrees below the value before responding. I checked it against two digital temperature sensors and an old fashioned, liquid filled thermometer. Do not buy this unit.

This is a single zone, 3 wire, 12 volt thermostat. It's a really simple device and installation. I purchased it to upgrade from my old one, but this one would not operate my furnace. It worked fine with AC.Maybe look for a different brand.

Works fine but set it at 74 if you want 69. A false temp is typical for these types off thermostats, but this is a bit extreme.
