This has to be the best after market controller out there. I don’t know what people are talking about the battery life being short. I’ve charged it when I got it a few weeks ago and haven’t had to charge it since. I would recommend

The controller wouldn’t turn on or charge, my son had to switch out the battery pack with his 3DS in order to make it work.

buttons and joy sticks are much easier to use than the buttons on wii u gamepad. only thing I need is gyro function. When I use a bow in botw I have to use right joystick to aim....

The controller feels great, the battery life also is exceptional. I do recommend if you are looking for options to play Wii U games, especially for games purchased on Virtual Console.

Worked well with our wii u. Much better than the original controllers for playing certain games like Mario kart and action games as well. Battery life has been good we get a whole days play easily and havent run out. The charger uses the old style usb cables which they provide so not an issue to charge. You have to use your own charger though.

Looks and feel robust, works perfectly, no problems at all with connectivity or responsiveness. If you were extremely particular you might say the buttons don't feel quite like the Nintendo branded version, but it really makes no difference at the end of the day. Great performers for the low price.

Got this in just yesterday and fortunately for me it was fully charged. The battery life lasts for days, 4 days and it's still full. It's still a bit bulky but more comfortable than using the tablet, that's for sure. My main concern is the deadzone on the sticks. They state below:"Features smooth and precise dual analog joysticks to allow for immense gameplay on titles like Minecraft - Super Smash Bros - Super Mario - Bayonetta etc." So while I bought this for Breath of The Wild, the deadzone makes aiming or moving the camera around jerky. Finely tuned movements are impossible unless you turn the in-game sensitivity down from very fast - at least low/very low and it's annoying having to switch sensitivity to do so. When freely running/looking around barely touching the right analog can ensure jerky camera movements which kills it for me. It works basically fine till it comes to aiming on most games I've tried, mainly Wind Waker, BoTW, OOT, MM and so forth but it's okay otherwise. The left analog also has this issue but it's not as noticeable unless you try to fine tune your direction of movement. I would say it's worth the price for what it delivers, just beware of the deadzone issues and if you want a smooth experience on games I've mentioned then it's best to just stick to the tablet or an official controller.

I recently bought a used WiiU console at our local goodwill, and unfortunately it doesn't have a controller aside from its gamepad of course. Excited I am to play Smash Brothers on it, I find it hard to control with the gamepad so I try to get the wiiU pro controller. Unfortunately, its hard to find it nowadays as we all know its been phased out by Nintendo. So, the only solution is here(amazon) or ebay, even so if you find one it will either be used, refurbished or bnew at a ripped off price. So the main option is really to buy a generic one. And so I chooses this for its price and closeness to the OEM one.So far so good, I like it. The feel of it is just perfect to my hands and the way its made you could never tell from afar that its not the orignal one. Now; gameplay wise, I did not noticed any lags or anything weird on it. It is responsive as it should. So its a good option to those in need of a controller or additional one for their WiiU.
