Did a good job protecting my eyes at burning man. Cheap enough to toss after.

Very poor quality...doesn't fit well, which means that it doesn't keep out the dust.

I bought these as a low-cost alternative for Burning Man, which is not the environment for which they're designed. The plastic lenses hold static electricity and attract dust, although the frames are comfortable. I imagine with good quality glass lenses they're much better. At the price I can't complain much. They come with clear and dark lenses that pop in and out of the frames easily, but no so easy they become automatic. Human intervention is required. To keep dust and debris out of your eyes, (I seriously doubt these have any sort of OSHA or ANSI rating) these are a good way to go.

Fast shipping and the goggles we're exactly as described. Too bad I left them at home before going on my desert camping trip. Oh well. I'll bring them next year :)

genuine GI issue sun/wind/dust goggles are the best eye protection you can have at burning man. i have a pair with shaded lenses in them, but want a second set to keep clear lenses in for night use so i don't ave to swap lenses out every day.i made the mistake of thinking these were genuine military issue, but they are not. look in the photo- see how there's a rubber part at the top in the back you can see through the lenses? that covers about half of the back of the goggle, making the top half useless. you end up looking through a 1" gap between the cushioning and the rest just takes up space on your head and looks silly.look for the real deal before you buy these.

I bought 2 pairs to bring to burning man and they were great. during the day I used the tinted plastic, and at night I had to change it to the clear one. They're kinda hard to snap on and off, but thats better than them just falling off. they saved my eyes.
