I really like the quality and the look of the grill. What I hated was the install instructions and description. This is Not a bolt on product! You will need to cut your lower bumper to create access ports for the lower mounting brackets. Also, the upper mounting brackets need to be bent inwards in order to install the bumper back on the car. The worst part is that none of the nuts, bolts, washers are numbered. Took me close to 4 ours to install. If you are not experienced with working on cars I suggest you ask a proffesional for help.

It was perfect in my car. It spent some cuts on the bumper. And some modifications to the sensors. I put it myself with the help of a friend. You who have Ford explore ST before buying the push bar, think about it. You have to cut the plastic of the bumper. If you cut it wrong, it will ruin it. But with a lot of attention in the manual everything is right. For me, the push bar is approved.

If you buy this item you better have a grinder and welder jig saw drill and a LOT of patience !!!! Does NOT fit a 2023 ford explorer !

The part advertised, ( based on the photo in the description), is completely incompatible with the Ford Explorer ST trim. Despite the manufacturer's website claiming compatibility, both my own mechanic and another automotive professional confirmed its unsuitability. Despite returning the item with clear installation instructions via UPS (and the item has been received by the manufacturer for over a week), I had to resort to contacting Amazon customer service to initiate the refund process, given the significant expense of the part, amounting to $535. Overall, this entire experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing.

It looks amazing but install was absolutely terrible. The instructions are not only misleading but they completely forget steps.First: instructions don’t depict all the cutting that needs to be included for the brackets to mount to the bumper. It does however show the cutting that needs to occurs in the lower fascia.Second: the instruction show you completely install the brackets and then reinstall the fascia, this is not possible due to the shape of the brackets. You must install the 2 brackets mounting to the bumper on the left and right hand side. You install the fascia and fish the the 2 brackets that attach to the grill guard through the upper and lower grill. This scratched the hell out of the lower grill because of its absurd shape.Black horse needs to completely redesign these brackets and re-evaluate their installing instructions.

I was really excited for this purchase, but after more research I realized that you have to do ALOT of work to install. Since I bought this in the winter, my return window has ended and now I have no other option but to try and sell this. This messes with your parking sensors and you have to take the entire front bumper off to install. I would not recommend installing this yourself. Other than that the quality of the product seems great, I just didn't know what I was getting in to

Really seems nice. However towards the end of the process of doing this it requires you to cut some plastic at the bottom of the fender. After realizing this I couldn’t continue because I’m leasing my vehicle. They should’ve added this to their description but of course they didn’t. Is a bit rough to get the first pieces on. Also the box I received was like a throw away box.
