I just needed an extra pair of irons to switch over to an alternate saddle when I used it. I didn't want to break the bank since they were just for a spare saddle because I didn't feel like pulling the irons off my primary saddle everytime I wanted to ride in my alternate saddle. These fit the bill and I got them in black so they'd transition nicely over to my black dressage saddle.
