Nice item! Unfortunately, this item was shipped in plastic mailing envelope/sleeve only by Amazon (with no bubble wrap or protection), a box would’ve been best. So it was thrown around during shipping without being protected whatsoever. This caused the item to show up damaged, the paint is chipped. I’m actually surprised it’s not damaged even further. Gonna have to return/replace the item due to damage. Will update again when the new one arrives.Update: second one arrived in worse condition than the first. Welds aren’t finished, bars are uneven & there’s some soder pieces hanging. I ended up installing the first item. Didn’t want to order a third…

All you need is 2 pieces of padding between fender and rack so it doesn't scratch paint on fender other than that good fit and good quality part !

Nice affordable little luggage rack for 2014 iron 883n! It fits either direction. I did make a little leather pad to use under it so it won’t scratch paint.

Not even close to fitting. My bike was listed so you’d think it would fit. 2010 Sportster 48 (XL1200X). The angle was so off on the rear bracket there was no hope for any slight creative modification to get it to follow the fender and bolt in correctly. No more grease monkey parts from Amazon EBay only

Thing is perfect at an excellent priceGet a two pack of harley hand tightening seat screws for 10$ from Amazon as well and you won't need any padding to prevent scratchesInstall was 30 seconds and I can take off without tools if I wish

This fender rack will fit newer bikes (2022 Forty Eight) WITH small modifications. The angle of the mounting bracket is slightly off on the newer models but a few minutes with a hammer will adjust it easily. Do yourself a favor and make a rubber gasket to go between the rack and the fender other wise it will scratch it terribly. Because the mounting points are in the center, I wouldn’t trust the rack as a single strapping point but it works well to keep luggage off the fender when strapping to a sissy bar. I purchased knurled seat screws separately so I can take this on and off without tools.

Installed in about 3 minutes. Looks just as good as the HD dealer's $300 USD version. For this price, I expected blown out welds and a bad paint job, but even up close, the thing looks darn good!

I purchased this to put on my 2019 HD Iron 1200 just to add a little extra space to carry what won't fit into the saddlebags. It contours with the back fender so it doesn't stand out, stick out or take away from the visual aspect of the bike. It is PERFECT!! Quality is high and sturdy and the holes on my bike lined up perfectly - no mods needed. I did also order black bolts to blend in but you can use the existing chrome bolts that are on the bike. I would absolutely recommend this over the HUGE cost of ordering the Harley Davidson ones. Just to compare - this rack is the same width and less than 2" shorter in length than the one from Harley Davidson at a FRACTION of the COST!
