Good feeling net. It has a nice weight to it and when “clicked” into time to land a fish mode the handle feels solid with virtually no notable wiggle. Even at extended length. The only thing I wish was that when the handle is in (for lack of better word) stored mode, the detent ball does not click into the hoop frame. To secure the handle to the net frame (stored mode) you have to release the telescoping lock and back the handle to the front of the net (the non handle side of the hoop). I do like the feeling of the rubber handle. It has a nice grippy grip to it. For the price it seems to be a good value and will likely get one for my wife too.

The handle could be a little longer, but this doesn't take away from the quality of this or how well it performs. The net is strong and rubber coated as advertised. The handle feels very solid, even when extended all the way. You can handle some fat fish without feeling like your net is going to buckle!

This net is well built and sturdy and the hooks do not get embedded in the net as advertised. My prior regular net would always get tangled around my lure treble hooks which would force me to spend 10 minutes trying to remove the hooks and ultimately cut into the net to free the hooks. The first time taking this new net out I gave it everything it could handle. I had caught 5 trout with treble hook lures and not one time did the hook get caught up in the net. The rubber net portion was very hook resistant. Initially I had concerns about the net not being deep enough to handle a larger fish but it was just able to bring in a 21 inch 6 lb trout. About a third of the tail was still flopping out but I was able to bring the fish into my kayak. Overall a solid hook resistant net. Just be aware that a 20-22 inch fish might be the max size limit that this net can handle.

I’ve always preferred rubber fishing nets, and this one works quite well. The rubber netting makes it much easier to remove hooks if they get tangled, compared to traditional nylon nets. It’s definitely a fish-friendly option for safe catch and release if that is your preference.The handle feels a bit cheaper than some of the other nets I own, but so far, it still functions well and hasn’t given me any issues. One feature I really like is how the handle reverses into the net, making it much more compact for storage and easy to transport to my favorite fishing spots. This is common on many of the nets and I am glad to see it incorporated on this one as we..Overall, this is a solid fishing net that gets the job done, and the convenience of the foldable handle makes it great for those who need something portable and easy to store. Worth considering if you need a reliable rubber net!

I got this for freshwater fishing. It's a nice-looking net that will do the job fine for my group. Good size on it, about enough to catch an average hen. I think one hand should be kept up near the net itself, to prevent leverage on the join between handle and net. If used like that, the net should be sturdy enough to last for some years!

This is a nearly perfect trout fishing net. The extendable handle makes it great for easily scooping up your catch without having to hunch over or contort yourself. The net is a wonderful, soft, rubberized material with soft edges all around so you don't harm the fish. Many species of trout are very sensitive. The handle removes easily and stores within the body of the net to make it very compact. There's an excellent strap on the end of the handle to connect it to your gear to keep it from getting lost. The quality is outstanding for the $26 price tag. I definitely recommend it and give it five stars.
