This stuff is magic for cleaning - pots, pans, ceramics, range, tubs, sinks, water spots on shower doors, baked on grease on oven doors. I keep finding new ways to use it!

This product is not something I use regularly; I mainly use this to get really stuck on things off of items mainly in my kitchen; i.e. counters, pans, the sink, etc. I can also see this working very well in a bathroom setting, although that is not something I've personally tried. This stuff is the only stuff that can clean (without damaging) my stainless steel pans and enameled cast iron. I own white enameled cast iron, and this is the only way I've been able to keep them completely white and like new, all without damaging the enamel coating. I mainly avoid harsh chemicals in my home, but this is one of the few I keep coming back to because I haven't found a more "natural" solution that even comes close to working as well as this product.

I read online that you can use barkeeper’s friend in the shower to remove set on soap scum with a drill brush. LET ME TELL YOU, this stuff performs absolute MIRACLES.In my shower there were hard water stains that didn’t come out even with a magic eraser, Comet, bleach, or any of my household cleaners. I even used a scrub daddy and NOTHING. The shower bottom was gross and discolored no matter what product I used and for how long.It took ONE run. Just a SINGLE RUN with this stuff and all the dirt and scum was gone (of course, with the drill brush). Absolute miracle.Smell isn’t harsh. It was easy to use. And it worked pretty fast!

Bar Keepers Friend cleans with minimal effort and removes water stains from your stainless steel cookware.A squirt of Bar Keepers Friend and a stainless steel scrubber and you get clean non-spotted hard water stains.I use stainless coffee mugs. Even with daily cleanings, they slowly pickup a darkened color. A squirt of Bra Keepers Friend and a bottle brush and the mug becomes sparkling clean. The stuff just works.

Unless your too posh or bougie, (you people can move on and not read further), for those of us who actually clean up after ourselves, this stuff gets the stainless steel shiny and the copper polished. And clean!I hate doing dishes, emptying or filling the dishwasher. I hate putting away silverware. Dunno why. But the thing is, if I’m gonna do something I wanna do it to a clean finish.There’s a crapton of laundry waiting to be folded, mail to be opened, and a lawn to mow. I’m gonna ignore all of that because of the satisfaction of using this stuff to scrubby clean my stainless steel sink til it is sparkle magic shiny. With just enough acidic reaction (use gloves), it’s the smell of cleanliness, like bleach! (Don’t mix this product with bleach)I wouldn’t use this on dishes, but on cookware or cooking sheets, this stuff will get you some impressive results where that chore boy is only gonna make you bust another nail. (Guys probably more so. We just don’t know how to take care of our nails)

After reading about bar keeper's friend, I made the purchase and now have a metal sink that's as clean as the day I installed it.I really don't understand why competing products don't work as well. I was also able to clean years old baking sheets to proper shine. I have not left the product on for more then 1 min when cleaning, as the instructions state, not sure if it will damage the aluminum or stainless steel.I highly recommend this product, works way better then competing product.To play it safe, I re-wash afterwards with soap as there does seem to be a slight gritty film left over from cleaning with it.
