Front Lowering Kit
Black Path is proud to present this CNC machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum front lowering link for the 2003-2014 Suzuki LTZ 400 and 2003-2006 Kawasaki KFX 400. We designed this kit to increase center of gravity with a 3.5 inch front drop. With the increased stability, your ATV will be able to take corners at a higher speed without fear of tipping over. They are CNC machined from solid 6061-T6 billet aluminum and receives an anodized coating to protect from the elements. Please note that lowering your vehicle may accelerate the wear and tear of your Constant Velocity (CV) joint, boots and axles due to change in angles. Regular maintenance and inspection may help prevent issues and allow for early damage prevention. Please verify the vehicle is operating correctly and safely after any installation of aftermarket components.

2004 KFX 400Tight fit, had to spread apart stock shock mount to get this to fit. You will have to move front brake lines outside of the top control arm to get your relocated shock to fit. I double zip tied mine to a not sharp surface, time will tell if I need to McGyver more. The atv sits lower and a little wider, cornering and handling on the street is improved.I lowered my rear shock to match front height and that helped cornering also.I tried these mods first as they were cheaper than wheel spacers. I would never use either of these for jumping etc.

Front Lowering kit perfectly compatible with my Suzuki LT-Z400 K4 (2004). During the installation I had to remove 1 mm of material from both pieces with a grinder; as the housing had been accidentally bent by the old owner.After installation, my quad dropped significantly (8/9 cm) and widened frontally by about 5 cm.Driving on asphalt is now much more fun. The steering is much more sensitive and curves even with less effort.Fast shipping in Italy

This part is NOT compatible if your quad is equipped with reservoir shocks from the factory. The lower a arm is about 1/8 inch too small to accept the bracket and the bolt hole does not line up. Subsequently, the part of the bracket that receives the shock is too wide.The product is well made and comes with instructions, sitckers and a bottle opener that I shamelessly used while on the phone with tech support. Speaking of tech support - very fast to answer my questions. When the guy I talked to didn' know the answer to my question he got my number and immediately called back with with an answer and offered a hassle free refund.The only reason I am not voting 5 stars is because the ad didn't state that the factory shocks are not compatible and through my research I had no reason to believe that wouldn't be the case. I wish I could use them!
