Have had Shimano brakes for a long time and now with TRP I needed to use my Shimano brake bleed cup for them. This was an easy and cheap fix. FYI the TRP bleed port on the brake levers is a larger thread than the Shimano.

Why I needed this : First, I bought the ["the kit"] to bleed my Tektro 160 brakes. To do this, you attach syringes to BOTH the caliper AND the lever. The Kit comes with several different sizes of (yellow plastic) fittings to connect the rubber hose that is attached to the syringe at each end. Both ends use the SAME SIZE fitting and there is only one of those among the 12 fittings included in the kit. THEREFORE, I needed this for one end and the kit one for the other end. Next Problem: Then this fitting would not accept the hose from the kit, Solution: One of the OTHER fittings in the kit fit into this fitting and that one accepted the hose from the kit. Problem solved.

Works great. Allows me to use a shimano thread size funnel on tektro brakes just like I wanted.
