I bought this as a joke gift for a very straight, goofy, guy friend. We both love theater, and he joked about wanting to play Mrs. Bennet. So I bought this and a copy of Pride and Prejudice so he could live “his dream.” 😂 He was absolutely delighted, and put it on his head in public as soon as he got it. We had a lot of fun. If you are looking for a super high quality cap to legitimately protect your hair while sleeping, this is not the one I would recommend. The material is somewhat thin at the top, and probably would not be the best to protect from frizzing when you shift in your sleep. For a costume piece, however, this did exactly what we needed. It brought a smile and some laughs. to my friend’s face, and that’s what matters.

Got this to finish a Little Red Riding Hood and the Bad Wolf costume for a canine musical freestyle routine. It is so cute. Cute for the purpose and even cute for its manufacturer/designer's intent.

If your child is doing any sort of historical reenactment, field trip, play, etc. this was a really good quality mob hat. it fit nicely & was comfortable for my child and it looked really nice & authentic with her costume.
