It is difficult to find plus size rain jackets that actually fit and looks great as well. The style is absolutely wonderful, I love the added detail of the plaid design. The weight of the jacket is really light, and easy to carry when its not raining. This jacket is very functional, as you can wear it when its a little bit cold, raining, or just windy outside. It does have a zipper and snaps which is perfect. A great feature is that it has a draw string at the waist, which it does not look like you are wearing a box. At the time of this review the price is 42.99 which is a fantastic buy, this item is something that you will have for a long time. This is my go to rain jacket, as I did not have a rain jacket except a very nice London Fog which is on the dressy side that I use to wear for work when it was raining. This is my go to rain jacket especially in the south in the summer it rains at different times of the day. I am completely satisfied with this rain jacket, and so happy that I chose this one and its checks all the boxes that I wanted in a casual rain jacket.

Very fine feel inside on bare skin, super light, not too warm, survived a washing machine wash but followed instructions. I like it, its chic and functional. Oh and POCKETS!

I'm sure I don't have to point this out, but it's really, really hard to find jackets for a plus size woman that fit well and actually look good, but this one fits both bills! The jacket hangs well, even when buttoned and snapped. It's very soft and works well against both wind and rain. I've worn it for a while now just to be sure it would hold up and it has. It's very well made with nice firm stitches and durable snaps and zippers.All in all, I love this jacket and would happily buy it again.

I purchased a size larger since I am in between sizes and it fits well! You can pull the strings to create a lovely silhouette waist. I also had to roll the sleeves up once, but it works well like that and stays put. I love how lightweight this jacket is. Also, the plaid on the cuff is so cute! It shields from the wind and is easily my go-to jacket.

Well, it FINALLY rained and I was able to test this nice little raincoat out in real world conditions. It fits great, and is very comfortable. The fabric is light weight and yet seems to be very water repellant -- didn't get that feeling that water was *probably* leaking through that I've had with other light-weight rain gear. I think being double-layered buffers that feeling. The hood may be slightly large but I don't think I've ever had a hooded raincoat where that wasn't the case. The solution is to wear a billed cap and pull the hood over that (which is what I do when it rains anyway, since I wear glasses and that helps keep them from getting rain splattered), works just fine. I really do like this raincoat. The one thing that I might change is that it kind of seems like the pocket flap is on the wrong side of the pocket. I think this is because the pockets are at an angle (which makes sliding your hand into them very easy). The flaps can be snapped down so that if you're walking into the wind, they won't blow open, but if you're like me, and tend to leave them unsnapped, they could be blown open by wind and rain could get inside. Thinking about the alternative (putting the flaps on the other side of the pocket slit), I don't think that would work better in most situations, but somehow, to me it feels a little backwards. Might just be because this is the first time I've had a jacket that's built quite like this. All in all, absolutely not a deal-breaker and this is definitely the nicest raincoat I've ever had. Really love the drawstring at the waist on the inside, so the coat can be fitted well to my actual body shape.

I wore this immediately after opening! I live in Oregon, so shocker - it was raining. I grabbed this as I was heading out the door & crossed my fingers that it would fit & do its job. It did! It's super comfy, lightweight, waterproof, and fits perfectly. (It's just roomy enough to put a fleece on underneath for those chilly days.) I wouldn't say that it's top of the line quality, but for the price, you can't beat it. It seems to be durable, does its job, fits well, and is cute. I'd have no qualms in telling someone where I got it & providing a link.

I have been looking for a good raincoat all my life. When I removed this from the Amazon box, I was immediately impressed with the soft feel of the jacket, how lightweight it was, and how beautifully designed and sewn it was. I have worn it almost daily for a month now. It has excellent wind-breaking benefits, it looks SO classy, and the zippers, snaps and buttons are high quality. It is FULLY lined, which is a rarity nowadays. It is generous in size, and fits well over sweaters during colder weather. I finally feel like I have the all-season rain jacket I've been searching for!It never rained this month, so this morning I dropped several droplets of water onto the jacket to see what would happen, would any moisture sink in? After 10 minutes of rolling those drops around on the outside of the coat, no trace of moisture was shown on the outside and no moisture was felt on the inside. As I continued to roll the droplets, they formed a mega drop and I finally gave up because no water penetrated the jacket-at all, none!If you are looking for a lightweight jacket that stops the rain, looks gorgeous, and doesn't add extra warmth or padding (which isn't necessary many seasons of the year), you will be pleased with this purchase!
