Das angenehm kleine Gerät liefert am Handgelenk recht ähnliche Werte wie am Oberarm und bestätigt, dass hier kaum noch ein Unterschied in der Messgenauigkeit besteht. Das größere Problem ist der "richtige Sitz" am Unterarm, denn manchmal ist hier bei uns die Herzfrequenz schlichtweg halbiert. Das kann aber natürlich auch an den Eigenheiten eines bestimmten Unterarms liegen? Gute Blutdruckwerte müssen in und nach Ruhe etwa in Höhe des Herzens gemessen werden, da sich sonst Welten zwischen den Werten auftun. Wer damit Schwierigkeiten hat, sollte mal eine Messung im Liegen (und leicht unterlegtem Messpunkt für die Herzhöhe) machen - das ergibt manchmal auch interessante Abweichungen. Richtig Blutdruck messen ist also mehr, als nur so ein Gerät zu kaufen. Die Handhabung gibt hier den Ton an. Und bei richtiger Anwendung liefert dieses günstige Gerät gute, reproduzierbare Werte, die den Vergleich nicht scheuen. Also unsererseits durchaus eine Kaufempfehlung.

I had used a different wrist one for several years and the readings were always very close to the readings in my doctors office. So when it stopped working I figured I’d get another, this one is so far off it is useless. If I take 3 back to back I get 3 totally different readings, not even close.
