I have used many electronic b/p cuffs over my 28 years of nursing, and this is truly the first one that I have found that has been truly close to being consistently accurate with me taking a manual b/p. I love that my patients can see the b/p as I take it. It holds battery life forever, and I love the fact I can charge it at my computer. The display is great, and it does not error out by just a slight movement which is wonderful since I work with patients who have mental illness or can not necessarily sit quietly at all times. Love, love, love this product. Would also work great for someone at home who needs to check their b/p as it is simple to use. Great job!

I got one of these as one of my kids in addition to his regular job got certified as an EMT. This is the model in their go bag. Figured good enough for them, good enough for me. An arm wrap is much better than a wrist model or the other arm wrap one I have because this one is right close to the one at the doctor consistently.

How do you know what device is accurate or not? Whether a device you buy yourself, or your docs office device, honestly, who really knows whether it is accurate or not? Way too many factors affect blood pressure, especially if you have "white coat syndrome" like I do, where you are already nervous and anxious simply because you are going to see the doctor? Some are afraid of seeing the doctor, and others are just simply afraid of receiving bad news. In either case, find your "happy place", where you are at your calmest, and take your blood pressure and set a baseline. My doctor gave me a portable device to do this at home for a month. I followed up with this device and it has never been more than 5 points up or down. Follow directions on placement and DO NOT wait for the batteries to die to change them. I use Energizer Lithium Ion batteries for longevity and change them every 3 months, and take my pressure every morning. The PRO about this device, is it will not take your blood pressure if the batteries are too low.CONS, only good for one user.Otherwise a great device, and a night and day difference from wrist BP cuffs (which is why I assume doctors don't use them in the office)!

Overall, this blood pressure monitor does the job. I love how portable it is, easy to use and practical. The built in battery was a plus. A bit antiquated for using micro USB and not type-C. The only issue I found was the LCD screen. it was glary and a bit hard to see and read the numbers. You have to tilt the monitor to be able to see and read the screen. I am not sure if the blood pressure monitor I received was defective or it’s the way it was designed. I had to return mine because this was causing my eyesight to strain and in turn I was getting headaches. Fix or upgrade the screen and this would be a great product.

Update #2: It's working fine! There's a little on/off switch on the side that had been turned off inadvertently. Once I discovered that, it went right back to normal working order. Five stars! (Excuse me while I slink off in embarrassment...)Update: It died today, 10 months after purchase. Won't turn on, won't take a charge. It was great while it lasted, but I will be looking to order a different one to replace it.I like this BP machine. Seems accurate, easy to use and read, and it's nice to be free from cords. It takes longer than my old one but I don't mind that. Two things should be changed, though. The strap should be a little bit longer. Also, both sides of the velcro have hooks (for a strong hold), and one side is against your body as you put it on, so if you're wearing something delicate it will snag. I've learned to be careful about that. The unit is thoughtfully designed otherwise. I also like that it doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles I don't need. It just does the job.
