It’s been a long time and many lost pounds since I’ve needed to buy a swimsuit. I’ve lost quite a bit of weight and have the loose skin to prove it. I’m tall but I have a short waist and a flat backside. I’m shaped like a rectangle with not much difference between my shoulders, waist and hips and that causes problems. If I find something that fits my waist, it’s too big in the hips and that’s the case here. Fortunately, the skirt covers a lot of figure challenges and is a big reason why I chose this suit.When I first put it on, the skirt went down almost to my knees, and I love being able to adjust how much leg it shows (or doesn’t as the case may be). At first, I was disappointed in the fit through the bust but once I shortened the adjustable straps, it pulled the whole suit up and everything started to fall into place. When I shortened the skirt using the adjustable ties, it looked odd until I realized I needed to arrange the gathers over my tummy and it looked great! I can’t speak to added support as the suit was very slightly large but I didn’t notice any extra support material on the inside. It has separate bra cups so no uni-boob (yay!).I didn’t really know what size to get so I ordered from the size chart. As a seamstress, I know that things like swimsuits should generally be selected according to the hip measurement, but I disregarded that advice and ordered by the bust measurement. Sure enough, there’s extra fabric at the hip. It doesn’t help the my backside has headed south and it’s flat as the southwest desert. Thanks to the skirt, it’s not an issue. While I’m satisfied overall with the fit, I think a size smaller (had I ordered by hip measurement) would have been better. I have no qualms, however, about wearing this suit out in public.So, the secret to swimsuit fabric. Most swimsuits are made primarily of either polyester or nylon. Polyester is not very good at standing up to chlorine and swimsuits made of this fiber are not designed for frequent exposure to it, even if you rinse it off with cool water after wearing (which you should always do then hang it up to dry). They’re perfect if you just need something for water aerobics or hanging out at the pool; it’s just not made for daily lap swimming. Nylon is a much sturdier fabric and can take frequent pool activities. This suit is made of nylon and as such, has a very substantial feel to it and I know it will last for several seasons.I am very pleased overall with the quality and construction. I recommend ordering by your hip measurement but you know you better. Not bad for my first swimsuit in 20 years!

Amazon was right on the money with the sizing. I recently lost some weight and needed a new swim suit asap before my trip. Made my shopping easy and risk free. Got the suit and it looked flawless. Everything stayed in place and was snug in the right places so I won't feel like I will fall out of my suit. This is so cute I can confidently wear this as just an outfit with a a few accessories. I can't wait to wear it on the beach and by the pool 🥰

I hate swimsuits. It's like you're so happy when you find out your going on vacation to a beach. Then the anxiety of oh man I have to wear a swimsuit.This is the first suit that I actually love. I felt good in it and it fit really nice. The ability to adjust the skirt is a hit. I love it so much I'm ordering another one. This is very flattering and stylish.

This swimsuit was great material and covered well. The print and colors are pretty too! Sadly I had to return it because it didn’t look good on my body. If you’re trying to hide your lower abdomen this is not the suit for you. I loved the top part but the bottom part seemed to highlight the area I was trying to cover. Also the skirt part is cute but definitely rides up a bunch cause the material is super light weight.

I love this swimsuit! It’s a flattering fit, and I really love the discreet skirt. I’m self conscious about my upper thighs, and this really does a nice job of making me feel covered. The allowances for adjustment is a nice feature.
