There was a piece that was broken but we just held it together with a zip tie. Works perfectly, been using it for months and haven’t had any issues!

Yeah the whine is noticeable on a 2007 Yaris on fan speed 1/2.

Replaced the motor on a 2009 Toyota yaris with this unit, everything went fine. Took me about 10 minutes to do it all, hardest part was removing one of the screws in the rear of the housing, I used a socket wrench to reach it. Unit blows more air than the stock unit, it's a really good replacement.Definitely something you can do yourself, don't waste money taking it to a repair shop where you will be charged a lot.
