We named her Bessie. I love this. It’s very nostalgic and reminds me of my grandmother from Louisiana. It has a seal around the opening so that the snacks stay fresh. She looks good in the kitchen or living room. Just an all around great staple in our home.

The cookie jar received is very cute though not as shown. Cream color skin not the original aunt Jemima. I would still recommend it though.

This cookie jar reminds me of that nice fluffy, happy and full of love, grandmother, that we all deserved to have and love!There is nothing better than that feeling of being smothered with those loving arms as they try to squeezethe puddin' out of you! I am thrilled with this purchase; she's beautiful!! The colors in her apron compliment the colors in our kitchen and the expression on her face is priceless, just like a sweet Grandma's. And she looks good from the front or rear. The item was packaged extremely well--so thankful there wasn't any chipping/breakage. If you have wonderful memories of a Grandma, you won't be disappointed with this purchase.
