I have it plugged into a Bose Wave CD that's about 15 years old and usually stream from my iPhone or computer, and it works fine except for a couple things. About every third time I I broadcast to it I have to unplug the power cord and plug it back in in order for the adapter to recognize whichever device I'm using. Also, I have to make sure the volumes for the adapter, Bose, and iPhone/PC are *all* up, or I won't hear anything.

I had static coming from my speakers with this device and the sound was extremely low compared to plugging into the tv.
