Kethvoz Digtal Bluetooth TRMS Clamp Meter MultimeterThe build on this unit is quite solid. It feels designed to be used in a real work environment. The plastics are heavy, and there is ruggedizing rubber around the body. It seems designed to be dropped a few times. It comes with a soft/zippered case, however the case is about 1/2" too short to be comfortably zipped over the device - there's a protrusion at the end of the clamp that makes zipping the case very difficult. The test cables are flexible, have sufficient length, and have nice grips. The probe ends are sharp, with protective covers. Probe handles are designed for any size hands.I performed some basic tests on AC (voltage & HZ). Checked continuity. Tested a battery. and a few others. The unit advertises bluetooth connectivity to a metering app, but I did not test this functionality.Instructions are quite difficult to decipher. It took some trial and error to figure out some basics. For instance, when checking AC voltage, you set the dial to the V position, but then you have to hit the "SEL" button to switch from DC to AC. The SEL button also enables the audio tone for continuity testing. The "HOLD" button enables the backlight on the display.

Quality: Sturdy plastic construction with a solid-tactile rotary selector. The clamp is easy to operate and has a well designed "interlocking" mechanism for closing. The LCD screen is easy to read and has a backlighting option. Cables are standard "banana" type with round, thin test ends.Functionality: The unit was tested on ampere, voltage (AC and DC), and frequency settings and performed well. While the tested heat gun had a stated draw of 7.2 amps, the actual reading was 6.5 and 10% low. But it should be noted that the wire placement within the clamp made a modest difference in readings. Other functions not tested include resistance (ohms), capacitance, and non-contact voltage (NCV).Bluetooth interface: The "Intelligent Meter" application was loaded onto an iPhone and an iPad and worked seamlessly. Beware; when registering the app, you must enter an email and password. In addition, the password must NOT contain any special characters. The app is actually useful as it can record meter readings and user-selected alarm points for low and high values. While this unit is not a high-end test meter, it offers a lot of functionality in a well-designed and affordable package.

Sellers app won’t allow me to set up an account on phone. Tried multiple times. Terrible!! Very annoying and the only comment I saw on the app ratings was how bad the app was. That’s the whole reason I bought the dumb thing!!! Stop selling this floating turd.
