I’ve been looking for a good sound quality jukebox to play MP3 songs while I work. Mostly in the bedroom or the kitchen to play music continuously in the order I select. Throughout the years I have collected literally thousands of songs in different genres. I did not want to pay for streaming music service so I used various microSD cards to store and support songs playback, like a music jukebox.I tried Bluetooth playback with my phone but did not like the constant interruptions from the phone’s notifications. Also, I didn’t want to drain the phone’s battery while listening to music for long periods of time. There are quite a few choices for good sound quality Bluetooth speakers but almost all of them do not have a built-in TF/SD card slot or USB port music player. And the few with a built-in player are mostly cheaply made with poor sound quality. I know, because I have tried many different ones. The Keiid KD-B02 delivered on most of my needs. Keiid used DSP (digital signal processing) electronics to balance out the sound through its twin 2.5 inch full-range speakers. The result is good sounding bass without being overly boomy and the highs are clear and not muffled. With good quality recorded or ripped music, I have found the sound of the KD-B02 music playback to be very enjoyable. The unit has good clean power amplification delivering 16 levels of adjustable volume control. It gets plenty loud for near field listening but don’t expect room shaking experience from a device this size. Evident of the unit's good design and built quality, there is no annoying hiss or hum during the silent passages in between songs. I have tested MP3 and FLAC format recordings and the unit handles them well. I haven’t tested WAV or other popular formats yet but I assume they will play just fine with the exception of Apple formats like AAC or ALAC.In addition to its good sound quality, the KD-B02 offers the convenience of both a microSD slot and an USB A port. The unit comes with a FAT formatted 64GB microSD card already installed. The card has 9 folders with white noise mp3 files and 2 folders for musical alarms. In the microSD card mode, the unit will only play the first file from the current selected folders repeatedly. That is, only the first file will be played and repeated continuously without advancing to the second file on the folder. Pressing next on the remote or on top of the unit will advance to the next folder and repeatedly play the first song in that folder. This works out really nice for audio book playback if you replace the white noise file with a mp3 audio book. One really great feature is that the KD-B02 will remember the paused spot for later playback. That is, as long as you don’t skip to the next folder. You can turn off the unit or go to USB mode to play music and then later come back to SD card mode and continue where you have left off on your audio book. The included wireless remote is really convenient to switch easily between microSD or USB mode, change songs on USB or folders on microSD, as well as adjust playback volume, and turn the unit on or off. The USB mode has the option to support random shuffle playback mode. The microSD card mode does not offer this shuffle/repeat function. The KD-B02 can also connect through Bluetooth v5.4 to your phone or media player for audio playback. This latest (as of 6/2024) v5.4 offers wider range, stronger connections, and improved audio quality, that is if your phone or player supports it. However, it does not have a built-in microphone to serve as a speakerphone. Bluetooth connectivity is easy and with good range (I tested up to about 10 feet, it will probably do more but I haven’t tried as the spec says up to 300 feet in an open field)Having a built-in clock and with 2 music programmable alarms is really convenient. The clock seems to have a small built-in battery or a large capacitor to keep powering the clock through brief power interruptions. Another nice feature is the ability to automatically adjust its display brightness.Overall, I am very happy with the KD-B02 and planning to buy a few more for personal use and as gifts.

Reviews are often about the quality of the product, and I have previously said that this is a 5-star product when it comes to features, especially for the price. One thing that is often not mentioned is the after-sale customer service if something goes wrong. In my case, certain buttons on the unit stopped working. The seller immediately offered a replacement item and an immediate refund. Kudos to the seller for making thing right and supporting an excellent product.

Programing is better than other radios. The sound quality is great. Nice addition with the nature sleep sounds. The clock screen protector was peeling off on arrival. Nothing gorilla 🦍 glue can’t fix.
