Update - 10/24/24 - This stopped working a couple weeks ago. We've reset it to try to return it to the audio it had before but nothing works. All the sound now coming from it is so distant and fuzzy we can't get the volume up loud enough to be able to reasonably hear. Very disappointing considering the other unit shown in the first picture is three years older and still going while this one is dead after less than 6 months.-----------I totally missed understanding the proportions of this unit when I ordered it. I thought some of the photos were enlarged for effect because I've never seen a charger/transmitter this big before. I don't know where I thought the retractable cords were going to go exactly. The size causes two concerns for me. In my car, it blocks the drawer above the port. It also is rather heavy. The reason I need this is I have an old car. So the weight of this unit with the age of the already twenty year old port makes me a little concerned about how long my car's port with sustain the weight of this thing as the car bounces over speed bumps and such before breaking. I haven't had any issues with it coming loose during a drive though as others did. It could be that if you have dashboard too close because of the huge size, it may not be seating all the way in solidly. It does connect easily. (Instructions are in the photo on the listing so not super convenient.) I've had difficulty with it accepting phone calls while playing music then not having any phone volume to hear the call. I'm still fiddling to see what I'm doing wrong and will update if I continue to have issues but their customer service did answer me right away already. I haven't had any issues with static. After using it, I think it's fair to say it does what it claims to do. I'm just not sold on the benefit of having such a large device simply for the ease of having cords all wrapped up and handy.

My son got this for his car. He has an older Camry that doesn't have as many options for charging devices. He liked that this came with the 2 different retractable charging cables so he would always have a cable available to charge his devices. No matter how hard he tries, cables seem to always disappear from his car. Since these cables are attached, he knows right where they are at all times! That alone is worth it for him. He hasn't used the FM transmitter part since he has bluetooth connectivity but that is pretty cool too. His buddies love riding with him since he always has charging cables available and extra extra slots to charge their phones when traveling. Great product!

The ROADRESS Bluetooth FM Transmitter, w/ Dual Retractable Car Charger is what you need. I have an older vehicle and the Aux went out, thought about having the repair done, however the cost was going to be high and just not worth it at this time, so listening to my Spotify, had lost it's luster because volume was not blasting enough. Now that I have this Bluetooth FM Transmitter, I just have to find an empty radio channel to run it through and the sound is Ah-Mazing! Only drawback is depending on the area, you can lose the frequency and consequently you might not be able to listen to your music until you pick up the frequency/channel again, but that's a lot more bearable than not being able to hear my own playlists with the volume as loud as I can handle at all. Works w/an iPhone or Android.

This has worked well for me. You basically set it up one time by selecting radio frequency and then matching to your radio, then hooking it to your phone via bluetooth. Now every time I enter my car, it automatically works without me doing anything, which is an advantage over the last one of these I had (which was a gift).Unlike the last one I had, the sound quality through the radio is stronger. There's less interference. Unlike other reviewers, mine has been driving over bumpy roads and hasn't fallen out once (and ours sits at a horizontal). I particularly adore the fact that the charging cables it comes with retract in and out. That feature in and of itself makes this product instantly one of the better things I've had in my life, since managing cables in a car really sucks. The call features are nice and work fine. It's not particularly close to me talking so I kind of have to shout at the thing, but that's par for the course for these kinds of devices. It seems sturdy enough as well, and it's lasted well in the face of my extremely hot car in the summer.I really don't have any complaints. I think it might be too expensive for what it is, but also, I've literally never bought one of these things, so for all I know, this is how much you have to pay for a nice one of these.

That apple USB is not necessary. Apple finally got on board with USBC so this thing is going obsolete pretty fast but it works great
