Your cart is empty.B&M hard-core Super Duty Race shifter cables are available with a black cable housing for most B&M shifters. These are available in 3, 4, 5, or 8-foot lengths. It's properly clearanced to reduce backlash to within .015-in/ft. and has a large 0.375 inch 'long-lay' (stiffer, less prone to kinking) outer jacket for durability and dependability. The cable features an eyelet at one end to connect to the shifter, and a 10-32 threaded end at the transmission side of the cable and has a 2.50-inch stroke. This is the same type of cable supplied when you purchase a B&M Race shifter.

Unfortunately, I bought a aftermarket 3ft one first that didn’t fit properly. So I purchased this 4 ft one and it ended up being perfect for my 1963 Nova from the B&M shifter through to my 700r4.

Moved great and was a great size for the forward/reverse shift cable for the Steiner Hawk I have for a work vehicle.. however, upon installing it lasted 8 days.. the steel on the end of the internal cable busted off! I was tired of messing with it-so I did what I should have done in the first place.. I took the time and made a solid steel rod and put into place- (just as John Deere does) like my personal JD gator has on it. - works like a champ now.. wish I would have done it the first time instead of trying many different cables from many vendors.. nothing against this company- just feel the cable was not able to hold up to what it said it was capable of..

I have a 70 chevelle with a b&m shifter. This was a direct replacement. Only issues were, it is very thick, and hard to bend and move. It is also difficult to fit it in the slot on the shifter bracket. Bit overall I will buy again

I bought this for a Hurst Promatic 2 in my 67 Coronet to replace the burned 5 footer. There is some internal slop that cannot be adjusted out. It is enough that you cannot select every gear in sequence. You can go from P to 1 fine but due to the internal slop when you upshift to 2 it stays in first. I adjusted this for 8 hrs and only with a helper could I determine the issue. I added a spring to pull the cable rearward thus removing the slip. Needs to have a better fitting outer sleeve. I've had shifter carts in the past with quality cables and absolutely no internal slop.

Used this in a 98 c1500 LS swapped 6.0/4l80e combo. The cable that came with the shifter was too long and ended up failing because of routing. This cable was perfect for my application and still works like new.
